Interesting comment by interim head coach Derek King stating that Soderblom is "eventually going to be in the NHL permanently.” Although I’m not sure this means before end of season, but who knows what is going on with MAF. As far as tonight’s game, the Hawks have hung with the Avs the last two games, maybe they can sneak in a win this time.

I think you first have to see what is being offered, and then if traded what is he traded for. Until then I think a GM has to be able to listen to an offers that come his way, or try to use his assets in a way he thinks improves his team.

Ihave been permanently barred form posting on the athletic, but so want to say, Just why Power's opinion that Kyle Davidson should be the permanent GM should hold any weight? Does he really understand the game?
This is a long term rebuild and a on the fly one too, so whoever it is might need to strap in and expect quick decisions to facilitate th long term ideas...
