The Flames definitely need the 2 points tonight, especially on a back to back against the Blues tomorrow with Vladar likely starting in net tomorrow and a pissed off Blues team that just got embarrased. |

Its been very up and down lately. Small card tonight, teams in bad spots with rest, etc....sometimes means slow defensive hockey.

This is the problem betting on poopty teams, they crap the bed some nights and Detroit is definitely in a midseason swoon now! Bad call, but I looked at how bad the Hawks are recently and I went with the home team as Detroit plays better hockey at home. Unreal!

St Louis will be in revenge mode for sure and Vladar hasn't played in weeks (if he starts). Sutter has a tendency to play the #1 back to back and after the shutout I can see Markstrom starting. Also with Chucky back home in St Louis, he could be a good prop bet?
