Friedman said Leafs and Ho Sang talked and decided not to call him up when Kase and Marner were both down. They were worried that a game or two would screw up his chances of going to Olympics.

That’s pretty cool. If he has a good Olympics I wouldn’t be surprised if he called up for playoffs if some injuries take place…..although I still have no idea how his contract works and if that’s even possible.
Some team is going to overpay for Chiarot. Every year teams throw first rounders around as though they have little value. If the Habs can squeeze a first out of some team, I'd say their new management team is off to a great start

Whichever team trades a 1st for him will be competing with the Leafs trade last season of Folingo as one of the worst deadline trades in recent memory.
I hope to (frank) it's not the Leafs trying to beat the Leafs.

Sorry but Willie loves the libs. He’s been performing and raising money for Beto O’Rourke and Democratic candidates for years. He’s also a big soy fan which isn’t surprising to anyone who knows about Farm Aid.
