What a massacre last night. But boy oh boy can Kaprizov fly.

Yeah, I was expecting a Wild win last night, but not by those margins. As a Wild fan, I have seen too many games where the other team skates circles around them for most of the game, like this one, so it was kind of nice to watch. This is a tough season the Habs fans.

And yes, Kaprizov can fly and he doesn't even need a cap to do that.

The Wild maintained puck possession throughout the night. The Habs could not handle the GREEF line as they completely dominated when on the ice. MTL defenders lost their assignments when the Wild got into their cycle.

Like last season, it looks like a lack of a 1C doesn’t matter to the Wild during the regular season. Kaprizov doesn’t seem to miss a beat because Zucc is such a high level playmaking wing. Hartman benefits from 2 playmaking wings. But the playoffs are way different. VGK exploited the Wild’s weakness at center and then did the same to the Avs with no #2. They will need to get their center if they want any hope of winning any playoff rounds.
