Please Kyle, don't trade our top draft picks again! For a change, lets hang onto our 1st & 2nd picks!

Stars have won 4 in a row and are currently in a playoff spot. Pretty sure they aren't looking to sell Pavelski right now. Also 13 goals and 19 assists is more than 29 points so something seems wrong there.

Why would the stars trade him when they’re in a playoff position and making a decent push as of late? He comes with a 7 mill cap hit that would be tough to fit for contenders. He also has a modified no trade where he submits a 3 team trade list. 3 teams he can be traded to and it’s his choice. So I’m not sure how you say he tops any trade list or “sweeps” when the possible scenarios are extremely limited and have such a low probability.

I think the Rangers need to be careful. They're finally now exiting their rebuild and are prepped to be a strong team for a while. I don't think they should rush to sell futures for a cup run just yet. IMO any trades they make should be hockey trades or depth moves for a playoff run, see how the playoffs go and take a good long look at what they need to be successful.

And grammar.

And logic.

I dont need fuel, the Rangers should be buyers.

What Eklund fails to mention is the stipulation of Pavelski's no trade clause. Dallas can only trade Pavelski to 3 teams of his choosing. So if Dallas decides to make him a rental and cash in a couple assets in the process, ultimately its up to Joe on where he goes.

The offer from the Rangers would be a 1st round pick and a prospect (Lauri Pajuniemi).

why would they trade him and then bring him back when they are probably in the playoffs once the games are made up as they have played 1 or 3 fewer games then the teams they need to catch and not really out of it

If the Caps can't find room for Malkin, then maybe Malkin goes to be a man in Dallas, requiring Pavelski to be moved.

In the summer, Malkin moves in with Ovie. So Dallas has room to resign Pavelski. It's possible. Probably not an E4 for me, but maybe E3+.

It’s very unfair of you to bring facts, reality, money and logic into the conversation in a world of make believe trades.

I wonder if Patrice Bergeron is another trade option? Exact same situation...pending UFA, team in wildcard spot, 3-team no-trade, makes total sense...

Leafs have plenty of room, right?

And Dallas is 3 pts out of WC spot with fewest games played.

It all makes perfect sense.

Does Toronto really need another forward?

Stocking up on forwards has just done wonders for them these years

Carr was not going to kneel down. Staley had a nickel package on the field and wanted to stack the line me thinks. LAC blew it all over the field last night in other respects, however. LAC stops that 3 and 23 at the end of the first half, and it goes in with a 4 pt lead (or more). I'm a 3 decade Charges fan. This organization is f*cking pitiful and kicks you in the nuts every time you think its turned a corner.
