This team is a tough one to figure out sometimes. I do enjoy watching them!
This Covid protocol is beyond stupid and that includes all sports!

I was at the game and I thought the boys played solid but were definitely fatigued. Durzi is quickly becoming an integral part of the d core and the leadership group in my opinion. Has so much energy and the team clearly dead’s off of it.

Also, it was great to see Sparks get a big win. He was so emotional in the postgame presser and it was great to see him get a win after two years of struggle with the aftermath of his concussions. Happy for the dude.

5 out of 8 points on that 4 game trip? I will take that against the competition the team played and deem it a successful stretch. But I also don't think anything has changed. The team is still Helter-Skelter. Is the team building into something better? Or is this team just a collection of misfits who put it together on some nights and are exposed on other nights?

If this team wants to pick up points on a consistent basis, they pretty much all need to play their perfect game and still get timely saves. It's just not feasible. The game the played against EDM and MIN were amazing and then equally terrible against VAN and an AHL/CAR squad. When they're playing their A+++ game, it's fun to watch, but when they're playing any other way, it's atrocious.

I think for teams in that 6,7 and 8 playoff spot what you mention above could apply to any of those teams.

true. It will be a quick 4-1 bounce in the 1st round if they even make it.
