A worst-case scenario has happened for St. Louis, as both Husso and Jake Walman are now out with injuries. The team will play short again tonight as eight players with the Springfield Thunderbirds are also dealing with COVID-19. The team doesn’t have cap space, doesn’t have recall options, and now will have just 11 forwards and six defensemen tonight. Jon Gillies, who was signed yesterday, will presumably backup Lindgren, though it’s not actually even clear how he can be added to the roster given the cap situation, unless they use their other emergency goaltender exemption (Lindgren is already up on one of them).

Could very well be. Raymond might get some points though since he has 8 points at home and 14 points on the road. Odd thing since the Wings really suck on the road but Raymond seems to do better. Their line also likely gets tougher matchups since the road team has last change.

Just for kicks I'd like to see Blashill move Suter to center the top line and move Larkin to the second line. I think it might energize the 2nd line and kickstart some secondary scoring. Blashill will never do that of course...

Quite the guess!! Let's hope it stays that way now or decreases.

Big difference between how the Wings play and how Preds and Blues play. They finish checks every chance they get on everyone. Very few Wings actually finish any checks...they just skate by.


I feel bad for Seider. Blashill just drops a big bag of flaming DeKeyser on his door step, rings the doorbell and runs away.
