Texier getting hot, finally. This is great to see. He looked good right out of the gate but he cooled off something fierce. Up to 8 goals now - Columbus needs him to develop into a goal scoring guy.

He can be a 30-goal middle-sixer. Doesn't have the best play-making abilities but some players have a knack for finding the net and he seems to be one of them. Young and French, he has a lot to prove.

I think he will develop into a 25-goal guy and be an important player in the playoffs.

Couldn't be happier with the way this season is going right now. Hunker down and see where the team is at after the new year and maybe shore up some depth or get a nice back-up goaltender and Columbus can be deceptively hard to play against come playoff time.

BED,

The CBJ is not close to a playoff team but they win tonight and the start of the season was fun. The defense is awful, the kids are slumping badly, and we need Liane to play out of his mind to finish the season at NHL .500

Who knows, with some of the bad play some teams in the Metro are showing, maybe a run is possible. I sure feel sorry for Cam Atkinson in Philly.

Weresnki and Gavrikov are okay, Boqvist is starting to show his quality , there's not much that needs to be done in terms of trade just to boost the backend , frankly i'm sick and tired of the Russian roulette on the bottom 6, that's where improvements need to be made.

Hi Alex. I agree with you, though I think Werenski is still a #1 D-man. Who is the bottom six in your opinion?
