Just great. Bee is gone long term. They will likely go from scoring 1 a game to zero. Fack.

I don't know about long term. If it was long term they would announce out indefinitely. Being optimistic.

Again with the revolving defense partners trying to find a fit for Provorov, maybe its time to face facts ITS HIM.

I look at this roster as it's currently constructed and I see NO untouchables. NONE!! That is a sad state of affairs.

He wiped out on his own and went into the boards shoulder first. Unreal.

This team is obviously going nowhere, their cap situation sucks, the GM sucks, management sucks. Don't see a way out of the situation they are in for the foreseeable future.

I thought Provy had a very good start to the year. He wasn’t getting any points but really was strong in his own end…then they moved him to the PP, which after a decent start had a few bad games. Not sure if that hurt his confidence being part of that gong show, but it looks like every guy on the PP is struggling wither confidence.
Or it could be that Ellis was his partner, and Provy was able to just play his game knowing he didn’t have to worry about the guy on the other side. Elliot Friedman was on NHL radio yesterday and said Provy is managements biggest concern.

I don’t think you’ll see Farabee or Hart moved. I also don’t think Coots will be moved after signing that long term deal….then again they did trade Carter and Richards right after they inked their long term deals…

Seems like this entire team is a bunch of nervous nellies. Soon as they go into a little funk it turns into a gaping black hole that they can't get out of. I've never seen anything like it.

Oh right! because we all thought Seeler as top pairing fill-in would work. Braun although above his depth does well with Provy, but then the 3rd pairing falls off. Small sample but Provy looked great with Ellis. He did well previously with Niskanen. It really isn’t up to him who the Flyers acquire, and he doesn’t have any say over just now being tried with Risto or not having an opportunity to try with Sanheim or anyone else.

Of course someone to blame, just like all the blame it on the C is a load of crap.

The practice shouldn't be starting at 11:30AM. It should have started at 6:00AM and end at 11:30PM. This team needs all the practice they can get. They stink.

After last year…they really do look like a fragile bunch. As soon as some adversity set in they went south. That’s the sign of a weak team. 90% of the game is between the ears.

I agree on the C comment. It’s the guys around G, not him, and it’s always been that way. Is he perfect, no….but that guy is an ultra competitive leader, who at this stage of his career shouldn’t be expected to still be the guy.

The fact that the coach is still behind the bench says all you need to know about this pathetic organization. Whether Yeo or an outsider took over in the interim it would immediately force them to change some things, which any way you put it would be for the better, can’t get worse. This is two seasons in a row with this guy where the team has literally fell flat on their face.

Thanks Bill! Not trying to a pessimist but From now on I’m not getting excited about the stats a prospect is putting up until he’s doing it the NHL.

That would be a GREAT idea right in front of playing five games in seven nights. With that sort of insight and planning, it's a shame you're not coaching in the NHL.

They usually play games in the evening. I always thought it would make more sense to practice in the evening too.

I agree, but I also think a new coaching staff won’t be the only thing that needs to be done. I listened all off season to the Covid excuse….this team is fresh out. To Fletcher’s credit he did attempt to fix some problems, it just hasn’t worked. I’m not sure he has any answers.

And we are not living in the 50’s. Although a good bag skate does build character. At least that’s what I was always told.

It absolutely isn’t but if there’s any chance of saving this season it has to be done

It is him. Provorov is bringing this other wise all star defense down with him.
