Some would disagree, but it's 2nd toughest MEN's league in the world, not designed for ballerinas coming out of the NCAA or other mini contact leagues around the world. Kurashev, Beaudin, Reichel and a few others need that development time badly down in Rockford playing big minutes and hopefully getting excellent coaching to assist in making them NHL players down the road.

It's probably the worst thing that happened to Gaudette, being claimed by the Senators. Kids need to play and get experience under their belt be it NHL, AHL or across the pond. The way i understand it Ottawa now has to keep him on their roster.

As much as people are down on him and believe that he’s finished, he’s still the best center on the team, albeit the bar is not too high. There’s not a contender out there that wouldn’t take him right now, especially at a reduced AAV. He has a two goal game coming up….

They are winning with King, so for me just keep doing what you're doing, in time one will go in and Toews has been more on the streaky side when it comes to scoring goals.

Not for $10.5M, but at $5.25M, you’d be surprised at how many would. He’s trending in the right direction, but he’s not 2015 Toews, I understand that.

I think every team would take him right now, but many, maybe most, of them would require a 3rd team go take half the salary. Toews is definitely worth $2.6 AAV. He's obviously not the player he was, but a good team could put him in as 3C for 2.6, and he could lead them on a deep run towards the Cup.
