Stutzle gets praised for games in Colorado and SJ, playing center, then the coach stops it after Anaheim, when the entire team cant score! I agree, Stutzle and Chabot are the only guys who skate hard.

I agree, let JBD get experience now, he would be better for it next year.

I feel your frustration, when the team looks like they don't care tonight, why should the fans! To hear DJ say, the fans need to stick by their team, then maybe have structure and systems, maybe have players play like a give a rats ass!

They sign Ennis to a 1 yr deal off his PTO, they bring in Sanford and Gambrell via trades and claim Gaudette off waivers. Let's keep piling up the 4th liners! The top 6 forwards need help.....but lets keep adding to the 4th line.

Nick Paul is a 3rd line player, but because this team lacks quality forwards he's being asked to play beyond his skill set. I agree with you! Put Batherson with Stutzel and Brown. Then move Sanford back up with Norris and Tkachuk.

Teams are shutting down the first line....so easy because they know this team has no secondary scoring!

No leadership leads to a team looking out of sorts. They look to the bench for leadership and they see a first time NHL head coach lost!

But, yes, management needs to come clean with this fanbase. Just listen to the Flyers presser!

Formenton is absolutely suffering with this coaching staff! They have hurt his development, he gets benched for one mistake. They have failed to utilize his skill set and tonight you could see his frustration on the bench. They are absolutely killing this kids confidence! I like those top 3 lines. The coaching staff has nothing to lose by trying this. Good post!

Salary dumps highly valued.

The owner, Moe, can usually be found queuing up for free meals at the Ottawa Mission or else panhandling in the Byward Market.

The GM, Curly, can usually be found attending Anthony Robbins seminars or at home practicing visualization.

The coach, Larry, can usually be found at one of Ottawa's seniors centers looking to find overlooked diamonds in the rough that could be added to the lineup. Curly will often accompany him.

At this point why bother trying to trade and beef up the line up.

Between the Covid outbreak and the key injuries, I agree.

If you're going to have a losing season, lose big.

But with Sens luck, we will pick third.

What I want to see if some sort of positive direction next year. Has to happen before fans lose faith and the players lose the ability to win.

Play the kids instead of bringing in 4th liners. And two moves....a 3/4 D and a impact forward. And now a goaltender.

Just don't know if DJ is a guy who can coach young players, young team.

At this point I don't want PD to do anything. No trades. Nothing. This isn't the year, we weren't ready. So....keep playing the prospects, keep losing.

I believe this losing is damaging the kids confidence it’s ok to be last but my god they need to strike up some big wins here just to get hem feeling good about themselves again

It’s been said, but what has been telling over the last few games, there is no system the team is playing. Either DJ and co has no gameplan/system or the players have just lost the coaching staff. Both situations call for a change. However, the issues are bigger than coaching. Dorion has failed to build an NHL team. He’s ok for prospects (though, could be debated) but has next to zero skills for pro scouting. A cleaning of house is needed before this stretches over a couple of seasons and you lose the core players and have Karlson, Stone, etc all over again preferring to play elsewhere.
