And pretty much every Devil fan does that in a heartbeat. Especially with how poorly Ty has played this year. This kind of trade has (surprisingly?) been discussed a ton across the Devils discords recently and it's a pretty overwhelming majority that instantly make that move if it was on the table

Quinn threw shade at Canucks management today when he was asked about Jack's deal, so I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't last his entire contract there unless theres an overhaul in upper management. Everybody knows he's walking from VAN the moment he hits UFA anyway

I don’t understand the obsession with getting Quinn. We need a winger who can score goals.

Quinn wouldn't have signed that big deal in VAN if he wanted to play with his bros.

Tonight should be a fun game. 2 rather evenly matched teams. Devils should play well after the flat start in SJ and Ruff’s hard practice. Jack should be a little less rusty, and I’m curious to see him with Hischier and Zacha.
Finally get to watch a game. Just missing the one one ESPN+ makes me feel like I haven’t seen a game in a week.

Might seem silly, but Fiala is Swiss, perhaps he works better with Nico? Also suggest Holtz on first line RW, Mercer second line RW, Zacha to 3rd line center and Tatar to second line LW.

We're gonna make our hay with the expierence of this core and hopefully continue to battle for a playoff spot and hopefully sneak into the playoffs. Understand how hard it was to get there and how hard it is in the 1st round. It's vital to any organization. Then I believe there comes the time of 'how can I compliment these guys'."

So just reading into that, it doesn't sound like Fitz is going to be making a move from outside help this season, and he just wants the team we have now to push for it. Maybe that will change if the team is in it at the deadline

I would think around the draft would be when it would make the most sense to add.

On Insider Trading Darren Dreger said Fitzy would like to eventually add a goal scoring winger or two but said players need to be age sensitive and fit into the core of the group. He suspects that Fitzy will check in on the Bruins DeBrusk. "That player might not be the right fit for the Devils because of his upcoming qualifying offer, but is definitely a player of interest."
