Living in Vancouver I'll be heading to work today knowing we kept it close enough, but most importantly still lost the 2 points. Yes there will be the over the top dissing from co-workers who haven't had much to cheer about themselves, but it will be worth it knowing we have a legit shot at number one overall (#3 again?) and Timmins will have absolutely nothing to do with the selection. Our drafting must improve. Can it get worse?

I mean he looks like a smart guy, has experience, it really depends how he takes the VP of hockey operations role, is he going to constantly be looking over the shoulder of the general manager. In that case I'd hire Madden Jr. who has a vast experience of amateur and pro scouting, but if not you can go for a more high profile candidate for the GM job, except Patrick Roy who will never work under two bosses.
