There are alot of holes In the Wild lineup, I read a rumor today about the Wild showing Interest In J.T. Miller, If I were Minnesota I'd also take a look at Arizona, Lawson Crouse, Nick Schmaltz, And Clay Keller could all help the Wild. Guerin has to figure out If this Is a win now team plan or rebuild, So far Guerin's moves have shown signs of both. Goaltending Is also a concern. A big concern. Brock Boeser should also be on Minnesota's radar.

Shady, I saw the rumor about J.T. Miller as well. Weren't they buddies back with the Rangers? It would be nice to see Miller centering Zuccarello and Kaprizov. You could then keep Ek with Foligno and Greenway (until he is traded). Hartman could center Boldy and Gaudreau (thinking that Fiala is part of the Miller trade). Unless the Guerin decided to bring up Beckman as well. What does this all look like?

Kaprizov/Miller/Zuccarello
Beckman/Hartman/Boldy
Greenway/Eriksson-Ek/Foligno
Duhaime/Gaudreau/Pitlick

The big one would be if Guerin decided to bite the bullet and bring up Rossi instead of Beckman. Then you move Hartman to RW, Boldy to LW and center them with Rossi. Overall, that looks like some decent lineups. And if Greenway is traded away, would Duhaime move up, opening that 4th line spot to either Bjugstad or Rask. Things are looking bright, especially if Guerin can find a way to get Miller without giving up the farm. Fiala is a great starting point though.

Fiala, Beckman, And Addison were mentioned In the J.T. Miller rumor. I'd move all three plus Greenway for Miller and Boeser and I'll take Richardinson to.

The Wild also need goaltending for than most are willing to admit, The Rangers are actively searching for a forward. Fiala for Georgiev. I'd make that deal.

Some of the J.T. Miller rumors: Miller/Rathbone for Fials/Rossi; Miller for Fiala/2nd; Miller/? for Fiala/Greenway. NYR also in talks. Miller held out of practice. It could mean something or a maintenance day for him. We’ll see.

You can’t be serious about that trade. Georgiev has an .858 save % and wants out of NY. So far no takers. He’s not better than either of our goalies.

I don’t like trading for Boeser. I liked Boeser before his injury but he hasn’t been the same. The Canucks forum posters are all in on trading Boeser saying he’s soft and passive. I’ve watched him a few times this year and don’t see a fit. Could the Wild take on his contract even if they wanted him?

I like J.T. Miller but I don’t want to give up Rossi in the deal. Fiala is 3 years younger so why give up any of our high end prospects.

I agree. Boeser is not the player he used to be. Miller would be a decent player however unless some more moves are made to win now, I would not trade the future. Fiala seems to have worn out his welcome. Another player with the skill but for whatever reason cannot put it all together. Some team may take him on however after Nashville and now MN, those options may be limited.

The Fiala situation seems like a no win for the Wild. If he starts putting up numbers then they probably don’t have the cap space to sign him. Fiala and KK are the only game breakers on the team so if Fiala leaves it puts more pressure on KK. When KK is getting shutdown usually Kevin picks up the slack. It’s hard for teams to shut both down with them on different lines. Like you said, even if they get Miller they still need upgrades for a win now scenario.

Wouldn't want Alexandar Georgiev. His numbers are overall #s are worse than Kahkonen. Would only be a downgrade. And it's a hard no on Boeser...unless it's for Rask.

This Miller thing as got me watching rumors left and right. I would love to see a Fiala & 2nd Rd pick for Miller. I sure hope we see Addison paired up with Goligoski tonight. This is the time for Addison to prove his worth, or if the Wild should try and trade him this year. I think most know I am not a big fan of Addison, so I would like to see him make me eat crow. Just really not into the offensive defenseman who can't play defense...that's called a forward. yes, there are parts to his game that I like, but as it sits now, I would still rather have Soucy over Addison. Hope he proves me wrong.

Been watching the T-Wolves last couple of games...and they keep talking about being "shot ready". I think this is something that anyone who skates with Zuccarello and Kaprizov have to be as well. I think that is something that Miller would bring. Gaudreau just is not a fit with the skill players. Love the energy and work ethic he brings every night...but he just doesn't seem to have that consistent skill all the time. No more Rask or Gaudreau skating with MZ & KK. It should be Hartman until either Guerin's hand is forced to bring Rossi up, or he makes some kind of trade like the Miller idea.

I should add, love the way the season has started. I was not expecting a ton from the Wild this year, and I understand the game plan of Guerin's, with staggered years for the youngsters to start getting paid, ala Boldy in 2 years, Beckman in 3yrs and Rossi in 4...then Kaprizov again in 5. But the need for a #1 C this year is a glaring weakness and needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.
