Gee Joe, are you sure Newhook can be anymore effective than the offensive juggernauts LOC, Sherwood, or Megna? I mean this is almost as controversial as inserting Byram last playoff would have been.
It sure would have been wild if the Avs had acquired Eichel. How far down the standings could they fall before he joined the active roster (depleted further by healthy assets lost to acquire him)? Where and how would they fit his $10 billion dollar salary moving forward? Those and many more terrifying questions thankfully will never be answered.
