Yea Theo completely agree with your counter rant to JCs.

Theo, in response to your question about Colliton’s track record, in his previous 8 seasons as a head coach, only once has his team finished in the top half of the league in GAA.
Some would call that a trend. |

Fleury starting for Blackhawks tonight vs. Jets.
Gaudette and Strome in for Khaira and Reese Johnson. Beaudin in for Stillman.
If Fleury struggles again, how much rope do they start to give Lankinen? |

And I'm sure 56 will dress again tonight. This coach is such a hypocrite by holding certain players accountable but giving more minutes to others, or he just doesn't know any better. |

Give him lots of rope, Flury needs to want it all over again |

Unless Kalynuk is cleared to play (or deemed to be at least functional) I don't think they have a choice but to play him. |

Hey fam - a couple things…
* Just play Strome and Gaudette for a stretch and work towards better 5-on-5 play. I’d rather them play than six 4th liners every night.
* Did Stan know that you could do a top 10 protected pick like BUF asked for in the Eichel deal?
That would’ve been a smart move considering how things are going in CHI.

I can appreciate his honesty. At least he's owning it.
But where's the coach's actions in limiting minutes, maybe a healthy scratch, but no
Sorry guys i know i can be a broken record

I'll laugh if they give up 1 goal against again and Gaudette and Strome get benched for the guys who play the game the right way. |

This dude is davis payne 2.0
Org puts in home grown coach to soak up garbage minutes until team is ready to be competitive or totally quits on him. |

the thing that bohters me is we had the upper hand in the deal. we were basically the only team he would sign an extension with.

I think he is trying to, but they don't have any other options. The only guys with less ice time per game are Stillman, Phillips and Mitchell.
The biggest problem was bringing him on in the first place... and now that guy is gone. If he is still getting ice time when C. Jones and Kalynuk are back healthy and cleared to play, JC needs his head examined. |

Bowman never understood how to work the market in deals - on the buy side or the sell side. |

Granted they just dealt with some serious stuff but the management they have in place can't let the product on the ice continue for much longer like this. I mean - they could - but would they really let this continue for the rest of the season?
You'd think they would fire the coach before they start chucking players.
The lottery protected pick should have at least been for the top 3 maybe they could have gotten away with 5 but 10 would have been tough. My guess is they thought they couldn't possibly be that bad. |

Well what coach would take the job before a GM is hired, or the interim taken off of Davidson's title? You would have to replace JC with what is behind the bench now, or King at Rockford.

When you hear a coach start pointing fingers directly at players, you then know who is truly to blame.
Why Colliton hasn't received the axe is beyond my imagination.
Ask yourself this question: Colliton gets fired tomorrow, which team takes him and in which league? I'll wait.... |

And who wants to coach this team right now, not knowing who his (or hers) boss is going to be? |

I think you ride out the year with Crawford as your coach. See if he can do anything to turn it around. He's getting paid anyway, then you can decide when the new GM comes in. |

Over/under if Strome or Guadette get more minutes than Reese Johnson's 4:04 last game? |

So you’re basically saying the one season is an outlier? Maybe in the next three years or so there will be another one of those, have some patience. |
