Hey Ek, why did Sean Avery get suspended right away by the NHL for saying "sloppy seconds" and the NHL let Q coach the game 30 hours after the report comes out?

Bad look for the NHL allowing Q to even coach last night. Kyle Beach came forward yesterday which I can’t even imagine how difficult that was. Meanwhile Q is still collecting a win as if everything is normal.

Gotta think Quenneville and Chevy at a minimum see the same fate as Bill Peters did.

I think the ownership should be punished just as badly as all those involved. Every executive, every hr person coach, nhlpa rep and especially players that knew and bullied beach if they are going to punish then they should punish all. 2 million dollar fine for the hawks team is a slap in the face. The team should lose draft picks or even have the owners forced to sell the team

Eddie Olczyk had nothing to say about the Chicago Blackhawks scandal on the TNT broadcast last night, He usually Isn't at a loss for words. Now we know why Toews took the year off last season and let his teammates down, He's turning out to be a horrible choice as captain.

Good topic, worth some conversation. I will focus on Chevy, he should resign or be dismissed.

Chevy worked hard in Winnipeg to develop a close, trusting group by doing what he said he was going to do, searching for good people in every role and by giving high value to draft picks with character. From the Chipmans, Thompsons and down the line there are people of character. It is a little ironic that KC finds himself as one who let down the hockey world.

Even if the upper management was going to deal with the allegations while the others focused on hockey as was stated this became an issue for Chevy when upper management failed to act. Chevy became obligated to bring forward to authorities information that a man in a position of authority made unwanted sexual advances to a person under his authority when it was clear no proper action was taken.

The issue for us fans is that it is hard to reconcile when a good person has a catastrophic failure of judgement that results in (at least) two young men having thier lives turned upside down and almost every support around them crumble. The innaction of Chevy and choice to adhere to whatever code he conjured is worthy of dismissal. Bowman should have been fired, Q should be fired and not allowed to resign for providing reference, Chevy should be allowed to resign (or be fired).

I agree. Strip them of the cup and award it to the Flyers. Of course I'm a little biased. But it's the nhl so it will never happen

KEvin Allen acted like there is NO WAY the players knew, "especially Captain Serious himself, he is beyond reproach!!!" ...when we already know the players were making homophobic slurs @ Kyle Beach. Then look at what Toews said in his comments, basically defended Bowman!!! bad!

Q and Chevy should announce that they are becoming Democrats and then the entire Party will back them and demand that no punishment happen because he is one of theirs, just like they have done numerous times with Clinton, Biden, Lt Gov of VA, etc etc

Now for the more serious part, both the Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets organizations would become collateral damage and become damagd through no fault of their own. Forcing resignations ould be wrong but......fining each of them $1million dollars, equal to the amount that the BlackHawks organziation paid, would send a strong message. It should be followed up with a Lifetime Probationary period so that any other offense will be grounds for dismissal ...

Everyone involved should be kicked out of the league.

It was Interesting how TNT sort of skimmed over the Kyle Beach tragedy last night during the Flyers and Oilers game, They didn't even give us much Insight until after the first period and even then It was a short clip of Kyle Beach talking, Sort of a nothing to see here attitude by TNT, And what was even more Interesting was that Wayne MILK TOAST Gretzky wasn't even on set, He convienatly had the night off.
