Nice comeback win by the Wings. Comebacks from a 2 goal deficient has been a much too rare occasion for these Wings.

So, how long until we see the “Boyer rule”? A bench minor for trainers who injure players while swapping out a stick.

Was wondering if Stevie would eat some salary in an Eichel trade to LVGK? Would a 2nd to take on $1.5M for 5 yrs be an adequate pay-off? Seems like an unprotected 1st for $2-2.5M would be OK too. I really don't like the 5 yr time period though.

I think the missed call on the slash to Larkin(broken stick) was the trade-off for the non-call on Boyer (bench penalty).

Kyle Beach is on NHL Network right now. These sexual predictors should have their nuts cut off!

I’m open to anything based on return. Yzerman is a heck of a negotiator.

Guerin will be right after then once the WBS investigation is done. Spineless MFers letting these sickos get away with things.

Gonna need all the cap space eventually. They have enough picks and prospects that they shouldn’t be eating cap long term.

Yeah 5 yrs is a bit long. But eating a M should not be a problem... but not much more tan that.

At that point you probably aren’t getting much value in return though. I’d probably avoid it altogether. Plus you already have dead cap tied up with Abdelkader. That stuff can add up quickly.

Remember the 2018 draft when we all debated Hughes versus Dobson versus Bouchard. It was clear we needed d-men. I begged for Hughes. But we drafted Zadina because a soft Euro winger was a big priority. What a bust.

If Yzerman had been GM in 2018 instead of Holland, would he have made the same pick at #6? Or would Zadina be someone else’s bust?

Entertaining the idea that he’s a bust is hysterical.

Hughes is hurt again, he will be on IR more than on the ice. Yeah I wanted him too, but the Wings have someone that may not be a star, but at least he is an NHLer. He will be a middle six guy, not a loss.

I hope I’m wrong. But do you think Yzerman takes him at #6, or passes?

Fehr needs to go! The players need to stand up and insist his butt is gone as well. The NHLPA is supposed to protect their players, and he did nothing! Disgusting

Hughes missed 1 game last week. He came back and has points in 3 straight games. He's playing a whopping 26 minutes per night. Last year he played every game. Otherwise, good insight here! 🤣

Glad to see the captain bury the ot winner. I thought Larkin again played hard all night but missed on several of his passes... great to see his efforts pay off though... what a shift from Larkin, Raymond and Sieder.... Id like to see Rasmussen break thru, he plays hard and seems engaged whenever on the ice...... but Suter and Zadina.....if your gonna bench Hronek, which I was fine with, then when do one or both of these guys sit.... perhaps give Rasmussen a chance on the second line alternating him with Fabbri and see what you have...I understand Suter was paid, but its not working... maybe give Veleno a look and move Suter to the wing to see if a new line combination can get him going......all in all it was nice to see a deficit overcome and the youth helping seal the victory

Dude Suter and Zadina are way better than Rasmussen.
