Except for the Peg game I like what I see so far for the most part. PP rolling nicely. PK ok for most part. Need more from 5x5 ..

But to go toe to toe with the Oil on a B2B is nothing to scoff at.

The Peg game no bueno and I don't know what it is with the Wild.. but damn can't catch a break with those guys.

The new assistants have been a boon. Need to jettison Grant and play the kids all the time.

So far B+

Honest question here, Ben. Do you actually watch the games? I say this because you do these blogs for four different teams, it's got to be damned near impossible to see them all.
The Edmonton game was all on Stolarz. You CAN'T let in a goal below the goal line. All of the momentum switched to Edmonton after that.

The Winnipeg game was weird and reminded me of old Ducks games where Anaheim would get badly outplayed but still win the game because of their goalie. Hellebuyck finally pulled his head out of his a$$ and played a decent game. Felix Sicard tweeted that all four Ducks lines had better Corsi % than Winnipeg's, even the fourth line.

The Minnesota game was another unfortunate one. They get a goal scored off the skate of a player as he was bending over to pick up his stick. With luck like that they were fortunate to get a point.

So far this season, I've been really happy with the Ducks' performance. They've had a chance to win almost every game and the power play hasn't been a dumpster fire. That fact alone proves that coaching is not overrated

I actually think their number of points is pretty fair - they deserved better in some and worse in others.

I agree that the offense has started early, but we seem soft in our own end on the whole. Way to many turnovers or poor clearances when we have won full control of the puck.

I have a feeling Eakins is spreading the offense/spark around a bit, but I still don't know why he's not putting Terry/Zegras/Comtois together on a line. Terry has had a great start, but Zegras and Comtois are a step or two behind points wise. It might wake up the Z and Commer if they get the gang back together.

To answer - It can get tricky sometimes, but luckily the games have been spaced out relatively well so far this year (luckily some of the teams are east coast and some are west). If there are multiple teams playing at the same time, a lot of the time I don't get to catch the full game for one of the teams, but pretty much always catch at least a good chunk of it through flipping at intermissions, after a game ends, etc. Sometimes, multiple screens are going.
