I do feel bad for Hutch who is getting absolutely dummied by everyone for last night's performance.

Matthews praised him postgame.

The chances the Leafs allow are always 5 alarm fires.

That’s why goalies are always getting hurt, or burnt out as the season/years go on.

Freddy is the happiest goalie in the world rn.

Impossible to predict.

Will the leafs win the “outchancing” battle? Absolutely.

Give it a rest AA. It’s so monotonous.

They’ll cycle the Pens into the ground, then throw a limp, low percentage shot on net to pad the corsi stats, allow a 2-1 the other way, and boom. 1-0 Pens. Pens add a empty netter. 2-0 Pens.

Glad to see AM34 praising a player we all know is not a legit option but has been a necessary component early on. I suspect Hutch will get a few more games this season and I'm hoping his numbers look closer to last season as his usage increases (ugh).

Really, really wish Mathews was the C. I love his unscripted, authentic character.

Yeah. I see it happening.

Ovi just sniped off the rush. The Leafs rarely get odd-man rushes like that. I truly think they need a different style of play. They never score off the rush.

Matthews just says what comes to mind, it’s refreshing. Reilly does a pretty good interview also.

He’s undeniably the leader of the team.

Tavares is a cyborg, and not a cool Cyborg like Barry.

There’s a lot of little things wrong with the team, but they all add up and it becomes very difficult to fix.

Hutch was absolutely terrible last night. 2 softies that reminded me of how putrid Andersen was last year. A five hole goal that Jiri Crha would have saved. Leafs showing some real rust early on, not driving the net, minimal effort out of the top six. Benching Ritchie for the inert effort by Marner was not the right move IMO

He was so spaced out on that play he’s lucky he didn’t get it in the teeth.

You copy and pasted your negative outlook from the last blog when it was nearly done and because it didn’t get enough attention that upsets people you just had to try it again.

Not as bad as all the negative talkers

At least they’re true fans, the negative ones are just complainers and aren’t truly a fan of the current team.

I think it's a product of not being an elite CHL player who went through years of media grooming by their agents. It's definitely super refreshing!

I love Crosby and think he's one of the greatest players ever, but I'd rather listen to OV all day than Sid's steady, careful, always on script interviews. 🤦

Sorry Dozzer, but that's a No True Scotsman fallacy.
