Well
You want to see "us" win
Better likelihood happens with Rockfiord Icehogs?
They play next at Iowa Friday 7pm. Check "theAHL.com" app for real time statistical report under scores |

I do not understand the lines at all. Kane needs to play with a “finisher”. Neither Dach or Hagel fit that role.
Debrincat Dach Kane
Hagel Toews Kubalik
Gaudette/Kurashev Borgstrum Johnson
Khaira Carpenter Entwistle
Are we ever going to see Strome again? If so showcase him on the top line. How much worse could we get.
Debrincat Strome Kane
Johnson Toews Borgstrum
Hagel Dach Kubalik
Khaira/Carp/Entwistle/Kurashev/Gaudette(pick 3) |

A better game, a “nice” game - they owned all of the stats…uhhh…except the one - but they were never a dangerous team. Sorokin was rarely in danger - he stopped 37, but I don’t recall many tough saves.
Chicago is an easy team to play against - no desperation, fall apart after giving up a goal or two. The fourth straight game giving up multiple goals in a short period of time (last nite, 3 in 11 third period minutes). Once “it” is gone, they have a hard time getting “it” back.
They’ve scored 3 goals 5x5 in 4 games - only one (Dach’s against NJD) when the game was on the line). They’ve given up 15 (almost 4 per game) 5x5.
Toews looks like he needs a couple of games off, Kane was not noticeable at all….
There is too much talent on this team to be this “unwinnable”. |

Play Strome until you can find a trading partner. Then give Gaudette some playing time in the middle six.
Given playing time I think Gaudette will be very similar to Kurashev (or better than Kurashev).
Borgstrum has made a few horrendous plays. But he has also has shown some decent upside. Give him time in the top 9. Patience.

highlight for me is last night even though he made a big blunder was Borgstrom. Stan might have found something here. Dach is looking good and Jones wasn't awful. If they could just string together a full 60 min effort. They showed Toews mic'ed up last night and Tazer just isn't the same. |

No desperation. No passion. No cohesiveness. No chemistry. 5 individual players. Moderate to low compete level. A lot of new players can cause some of this. One good game or even one super shift could turn this around. Or not!!!!!!

Agreed, Borgstrom has been a bright spot in the Hawks gloomy start. No, he’s not been perfect but he’s still re-acclimating to North American. I can take his mistakes as long as he’s playing like this. The line with Borgstrom, DeBrincat and Hardman (if healthy) would definitely be something good going forward.
Although I wouldn’t say that Stan found something good, clearly it was somebody else who found Borgstrom and Stanjust went along with it. |

Kane is not engaged and is disinterested...Toews is out of sync...The young kids are playing their hearts out....Jones, Kubalik, Johnson Dach, Debrincat Borgstrom Hagel Kurashev all fine.....Coach is an issue....We need to entertain the idea that Kane and Toews has to go...Their time is up....Debrincat is our new leader.. |

Why does neither Theo nor any commenter mention Fleury? To say I've been unimpressed is an understatement. I thought 3 of those 4 goals were something that even Crawford on a bad day might have saved. |

I agree with this. How many times were the Hawks doing the Globetrotters weave, except they forgot about going to the basket for the lay-up. Such a soft team.
Also with all the new veteran's, how fragile this team is already? Get a goal scored against, and they fall apart.
Maybe Danny needs to blow up the whole hockey department. |

Yes.
Need fresh eyes throughout the org to make progress.
New VP of Hockey Ops
New GM
New Coach
Let the new VP/GM decide what stays and what goes.
Ask 19 and 88 if they want to stick around or like 2, head to greener/other pastures for another shot at 1 or more Cups.
It was revolting watching that smug punk (with the new shaved punk haircut) smirking on the bench. A later shot of the bench/coaches revealed (to me) just how clueless all of them are. Looked like a bunch of overmatched amateurs.

You maybe right and the whole thing from top to bottom needs to be re-evaluated and possibly blown up and replaced.
I am curious however where you got the ability to look at someone and determine their intellect and competence? It’s an ability I sure wish I had.
