Yes, careful with roster moves today, as they intend maximizing LTIR... tomorrow we know the team.

Final roster is out. No Boyle or doc. Lafferty and Dom are on it. Everyone else was a given. Could change slightly I guess due to LTIR.

As much as I'm against Simon ever getting significant top 6 time, I think he earned a spot. He played in several of those preseason games with our "prospects" and was just better than most if not all of them. I think DOC deserves a spot too.

It could still happen when Did, Guentzel, and ZAR return. That's when it gets real interesting IMO. Not sure DOC makes the top 12 then and if that's the case I'd send him down to keep playing.

I don't care what he does in his free time, but I'd rather he just not play hockey for the Pens anymore.

Definitely not the roster we'll see tomorrow night. O'Connor and Boyle should be in. And, I can appreciate the "advanced" stats, but I really don't like basing this season on how players performed on the past. I get that it's 3 years worth of data, but a lot of players don't have 3 years to look at. And, it doesn't factor in further development or aging.

DOC and Angelo both practiced with the team Monday so I'd expect both of them and Boyle to be added today. Lafferty would be my choice to healthy scratch, but I think it will be Angelo.

I believe the rules are set up so any of Sid, Jake, and ZAR can be placed on IR or Covid list retroactively and be eligible to play as soon as they're ready. Then we see what the roster without Malkin really looks like.

Pretty crazy to be starting the season in the defending champ's barn with Sid, Geno and Jakey all out hahah...but here we are and lets go.

Had our Yahoo Fantasy draft last night, I'm the defending champ, and I drafted Sid 21st overall....My first pick at 12th over all was Pasta...
