Glad to hear TK was buzzin around. Really hope we can see him progress his game.
Should they both stay relatively healthy, would you take the over/under on Farabee and TK combining for 105 total points between them? |

I won't lie... I'm a huge brassard fan after watching him save provy yesterday!
All the brassard hate in here but that was a team player move right there
Brassard has quickly become one of my new favorite flyers

Just part of you? This reeks of Patrick. He needs excuse for sorry career.
-Staying Alive
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. This just doesn't come out of nowhere, and its more than a coincidence that its coming out of Vegas. Clearly Patrick was treated for his migraine disorders and now wants to blame someone for his sorry play, so lets blame the doctors and coaches of the Flyers. I mean, why not? It worked for Lindros! I told you guys Patrick had Lindros written all over him, and now its becoming clearer that this is unfortunately true! |

The hate is from a few that mistakenly see him as a block of some sort for younger guys. One poster has repeatedly called him washed up. Typical…..I agree he is not the offensive player he once was he still has some gas in the tank. He’s a nice insurance to have with all the injuries and can play up and down the lineup. As with last night he plays the game the right way….a meathead like Hathaway tries to go high on your top d man and then engage him in a fight, you have to respond….not that Provy was innocent on the play, but Brassard did what he’s supposed to do….he’s played good so far in first couple of games. |

I told you all Brassard had plenty left in the tank. He has been one of the best Flyers in pre-season so far, hopefully he can keep it up in the regular season because the Flyers desperately need a good C at this point. |

We probably haven’t heard the end of this. Lehner should be careful….there a whole lot of weird poop in that guys closet. |

Interesting to see how this plays out. I expect the league will have to investigate. I expect it has to do with how Patrick was handled. If so, he should lodge a forms complaint through the nhlpa and Lehner should stay out of it. |

Brassard is smart, works hard, and makes all the right plays. Its not always about points! There are those on this site that keep telling us about Voracek's point totals of the past 5 years, but they fail to realize the price we paid for those points. Give me a player like Brassard any day of the week! |

Bill, I think you are reaching a bit to find positives about Frost. Yes I did notice him a "bit" more last night compared to his previous game, but he still was playing catch-up most of his shifts. I recall 2 to 3 times during the game where Farabee and JVR are breaking in on a rush and Frost was no where to be found. I like my centers leading the play, not trailing it.
To me, the star of the game was Risto. He is already shaping up to be one of our best defenseman and a perfect Flyer! That play in the 1st where Risto kept the puck in the o-zone and flattened two Caps at the same time was just priceless! |

RR was destined to become a fan favorite with the way that he plays the game.
So far I am liking each and every one of chucks moves. Even seeler has been a pleasant surprise |

Jake was a good player for the Flyers, but I also think it was time to move on. I’m not sure I totally share your Brassard love to that level, but he will be a big addition if he plays the way he has so far. Vorecek is a perfect example of what a highly skilled player that can still be a detriment simply because of a commitment to play both ends of the ice “consistently”. It was also an issue when that lack of consistency is coming from a leader on your team….guys can’t always control scoring with consistency , but effort on the other side of the puck is something that can and should be controlled by good NHL’ers….that’s my issue with Jake….(used to be)…now I don’t care. |

I like his game too. I think the caps had to check their game knowing that they couldn’t just roll over us physically. I like the pushback if he can play like that consistently and be responsible defensively that’s all we need.

Sure, I'm rooting for him to succeed, the Flyers really can't afford to miss on yet another 1st round pick, especially one where they paid a big price to move up and get. Last night's game was a bay step, at least I heard his name a few times and saw his number on the screen. Hopefully he can gain more confidence and start contributing, because the Flyers really need him right now. |

The problem with Patrick in Philly is that he didn't have Lindros written all over him.

Brassard or Voracek? No brainer. You take Brassard. I'll take Voracek.
