cause we know Dubas will be terminated in mid June of 2022 if the Leafs stink in the playoffs.

I think the management/coaching staff will be fine no matter what. Leafs should make the playoffs this season and they'd better hope they don't draw Tampa in rd 1. But whomever else they face, they'd be the favourite.

Actually an excellent question Mike. I am not convinced Keefe is a really good coach, I don't think those above Dubas are either. I think golden parachute, with hope that this team finally has some playoff success in which case management may buy in.

Consensus seems to be from what I've read and heard on radio is Keefe's extension is simply the removal of a distraction and in no way a guarantee the Dubas regime survives another disappointing season.
