Is that you? Tanner? Remember that rant you had about all the racist trump supports on Hockeybuzz and that you never watched an Arizona Hockey game? Pepperidge Farm remembers

Brown has good skill and vision. His knock has been his effort and injuries. Doesn't seem like a DJ player either and Norris has pretty much passed him at this point. In my view he would be an excellent pickup for Arizona for nothing

Welcome Naftali,

You have some very small shoes to fill. Tanner had very small feet and it showed.

Look forward to your input.

Cheers

I agree with the comments made here. Logan Brown has never been given the opportunity to succeed in Ottawa. The coach DJ Smith is very demanding and expects a 6’6” player to be dominating and for some reason seems to be down on Brown. Hopefully barring injury, Logan is given a real chance to establish himself this year.

Logan Brown is a band-aid with no work ethic and less than acceptable skating ability. The only person who is responsible for his lack of success is himself.

Logan Brown is the most talented C in the Sens system. A comparison to his playing style would be a young Jason Spezza great hands and vision. He's a pass first player although he has a very good shot. His strength is from the red line in. His defense is OK but his creativity is elite. Dorion knows he's going to be a good NHL player but he doesn't fit in DJ Smith's coaching philosophy and he's worried about trading him because he doesn't want a repeat of the Zibanejad trade. Now there's so much animosity between the Brown camp and the Sens that the situation is impossible to rectify.

You should probably rephrase your comment to “Logan Brown has never EARNED an opportunity”. His consistent lack of effort is crystal clear to anyone when they watch him play. He wants to be given an NHL roster spot but is very clearly unwilling to work for it.

you can expect Logan Brown in the next 2 weeks. Right now the early training camp lineup reports have Brown playing with 2 career minor leaguers (Shaw and Reinhardt) slotted for the AHL Belleville club. It seems like the objective is to make him look bad. Then the organization can say he showed nothing in training camp. So he should hit the waiver wire soon.

Nothings working out in Arizona. How many first round picks can a rebuilding team lose/give away? Gross

Brown could end up in Arizona from the Blues along with Tarasenko or Krug to open up cap space for Brady to be signed as a RFA in St. Louis!

How does this fit with AZ's plan of acquiring picks, minimizing salary and tanking for the best chance at a high pick?

I don't think Blues will. But if they give Arizona Tarasenko for nothing but cap space, and he has a solid 3-4 months, he'll get Arizona another first and decent prospect come the trade deadline. If not, he provides some shelter and leadership to prospects for the next 2 years, and is off the books before Arizona cares. It's not the worst idea for Coyotes in the world.

It's not the worst idea, but it relies on St.L giving up T for nothing. He's not Ghost. It ain't gonna happen. C'mon, man. Be better.
