Sorry to spam..

Any of you guys want to join my 20-team yahoo league? It was originally intended for hockeybuzz people when I started it about 13 years ago.

I have 1 spot open. No money, no keepers, large rosters (snake style draft is over 2.5hrs long). Stats include hits, blocks, FW, no PIMS.

Draft will likely be evening of the 3rd. Message me if you’re interested.

Really. Eichel probably didn't expect this much resistance from the Sabers before he made a trade request. But there still time til the trade deadline. So I guess it doesn't matter until then. As a Ducks fan I was hoping the Ducks and Sabers could have gotten this done before training camp. Would have been cool to see him practice with the team. But the Duck still have 12.2 million in Cap space. And since we're as bad as the Sabers we can wait just as long.

That's not the right contract amount, Dahlin got 3 years at 6 million

he still needs to get the surgery then he has to rehab.....if it goes to the TD he's pretty much out for the season (assuming this stalemate in Buffalo persists).

Is Vegas still trying to clear $10m in cap space to make room for Eichel. A starting point would have been not blowing $5m on Dadanov. Who else is on the rumor wheel...NYR, Calgary, Anaheim, LA. Gaudreau could be a major piece in this.

I was chatting with my brother and we were trying to remember the last time there was a player/club shit storm of this magnitude, for a star-caliber player. We couldn't think of a single instance.

What situation are we forgetting?

Marty St. Louis throwing a tantrum because he wasn't selected by Yzerman for Team Canada so demanded a trade out of Tampa and would only go to NYR.

I don't think taking the captaincy away does any damage period. The only one's effected are rumor sites that make noise for hits. Your welcome

I think removing the captain designation is the equivalent of sports court martial. It makes huge sense to me. And, I suspect it makes sense to the Sabres fans that were paying his salary.

Eichel is the exact opposite of a leader. He is of weak character and spent much of his time blaming everyone else for his short comings. I think the Rangers deserve him.

William Nylander?

More of a poop rainy day than a poop storm, and slightly less talent than Eichel.

But held out until the final hour.

Perhaps they want to have a captain established that will actually be training with everyone, new and old, for the entire camp? Does this really seem far-fetched?

My god Eklund you can not get nothing right. Dahlin did not get 9 mil per, he got 6. How can you report such nonsense???

The sabres made many bad decisions in how they handled themselves the last decade. Jack definitely took advantage but Buffalo let him.

Can we agree that BUF has officially become the worst run organization in the NHL?

Easy to attack Jack...but who has better chance at future success?
Not going to insult Mickey Mouse but the Sabres are a pathetic organization and as a diehard fan a rather crap history with the worst currently happening

Should have allowed Jack to get the disc replaced!
His choice that was correctly made with a second opinion and consultation
Most athletes wisely get opinions outside the organization and often have
super specialists performing the surgery
Even not as an athlete but a medical professional, I would go with a disc replacement over a fusion

Old rule that 1/3 back surgery pts feel better, 1/3 stay the same, 1/3 get worse
This would apply mostly to fusions as disc replacements and microdissections work better and IMO fusions 1/3 getting better seems like a stretch

Good luck Jack... As a medical professional I 100% agree with the second opinion and YOUR decision instead of putting it in the hands of the Buffalo Sabres
