Showing those leadership abilities he was brought in for early! Good job Kenny! |

Watching Steve Dangle's trade tree and my god, this franchise is incompetent.
Hall for Larsson, not a terrible trade as Larsson because very useful, but man losing replacing Hall with Lucic... Christ.
Jordan Eberle for Strome... it was bad at the time, but Strome has actually become better than Eberle.
And then trading Strome for (frank)ing Spooner. Strome has a .74 PPG in New York and is a great 3C, Spooner isn't even point per game in the KHL.
Also Reinhart for a 16th overall and the 2nd.
Just wow. |

And St.Louis just hired Chiapet as a VP of hockey ops. Hard to tell what they are thinking there. |

He is 2C with Panarin, but will be interesting what NYR does as he is a trade candidate with his next contract not fitting NYR's cap.

You also gotta take into context that Hall was traded a few days after drafting Puljujarvi 4th overall and Eberle was traded the same week as drafting Yamamoto. Lucic and Strome were only the short term replacements. |

I wish Bear the best, he will look great with Slavin. Hopefully, both teams get some mileage out of that swap. |

They could have sat on their assets. Trading NHL players because you drafted two 18 year olds is a pretty dumb idea. One wasn't an NHL player until 2019-20 and the other wasn't ready until this past season.
Eberle gave you 50 points a season at least and Hall would've been fantastic for this team last season.
Just awful asset management. |

I think you'll like Foegele. He's maddeningly inconsistent and an absolute turnover machine in the offensive zone but he's a hell of an effective forechecker.

Almost like he's a good hockey player and trading him for a guy in the KHL is pretty (frank)ing stupid. |

Out of all of the awful moves Ken Holland made, this one stands out as acceptable.
I think trading Bear was a mistake. He had a great rookie season and his last season was marred by injury (literally sitting on the bench and got hit with a puck).
His replacement was awful, but I at least understand the move as he fetched a decent 3rd liner.
every other move was poop |

yeah I still wouldn't call it a "good" trade but I can at least see the logic behind it, which is more than you can usually say about Ken's moves this year. |
