I believe Garand played the second half of the game without letting in a goal. Looked great, few big saves.

I've tried watching football each of the past 2 Sundays. I can't do it. I cannot fathom how a country with the attention span of a gnat is so infatuated with it.

It's about 7% action, 53% commentators "mansplaining" to you what you just saw, 40% commercials for beer, trucks, and phones

I gave up a few years ago. It's just 3 hours of commercials with about 15 minutes of football sprinkled in the middle. It's terrible.

I finally threw the towel in on fantasy football this year and could not be happier. Football is so (frank)ing boring

You guys are watching football all wrong. Just watch red zone. No Commercials, no boring plays. Non stop action for 7 hours.

The fact that Gorton was able to turn bust Lias Andersson into Cuylle bears watching. He looks REALLY good for a 19 year old! Lets hope the Rangers don't rush him and he develops into something special.

Yea I used to have it, it was definitely nice when I was more into football.

I just don't love football the way I love hockey, so I'm not particularly interested in watching anyone other than the Giants. I'd stay up until midnight to watch most of the Canucks playing the Coyotes because of how into hockey I am. But I don't care enough to watch the Bears play the Ravens...even if it's just on Red Zone.

Same. It's usually about 4:45pm on Sunday before I even realize football is on!!

...it could be worse, though. It could be CFL action! Where there seem to be fines imposed for tackling.

Yeah I just can't stand listening to two dorky announcers have a 5 minute conversation about what decoration some guy has on his cleats and then watch some stupid choreographed touchdown dance. If the masses like that kind of stuff then more power to the NFL, but I certainly couldn't be bothered to watch.

I gave up on handegg over 30 years ago and haven't looked back. Catch parts of a game at my buddy's house and am bored to tears. "Football time" is the worst, 10 minutes of inaction waiting for 2 minutes of play.

I fear the Eichel situation is going to deteriorate even further ( if thats even possible ).
The way I see it:

Apparently Eichel is going to arrive at Buffalo for the opening of camp. He undoubtedly will FAIL his team physical. The team will order him to have surgery ( that he doesn't want ). They will argue back and forth as camp goes on. An Arbitrator may even get called in to try and settle this. Either way, Eichel will NOT be playing for Sabres anytime soon. Once this gets sorted out, Buffalo will HAVE to trade him because if he gets to July 2022, his NMC kicks in and he can completely dictate where he will go.

Some will say that Sabres will simply suspend him and not pay him. That is even worse for Buffalo. Eichel has already been paid over $30 million so far in his young career. He can actually afford to simply sit home until the Sabres give in. By suspending him, that will piss Eichel off even more and ruin the relationship beyond any hope of repair.

This has been such an ugly situation to date, and it is only going to get uglier. I truly feel sorry for Sabre fans --- they deserve far better. Many here complain about our owner Dolan. The Pegulas are FAR WORSE! I predict Eichel will get traded for pennies on the dollar sometime in early 2022, perhaps during the Olympic break. The Sabres fans hoping to get a huge haul in an Eichel trade are going to be SUPREMELY disappointed.

I just hope the Rangers steer clear of this disaster...

Sabres better figure it out before Jack's full NMC kicks in this coming offseason, otherwise he has full control where he goes and they'll get peanuts for him

That's a fair assumption regarding most things
