I wonder what Winnipeg is up to, they are not a match for us trade wise at all, but they are interesting to watch
they only have 9 forwards signed, Copp yet to sign
they acquired Nate Schmidt and Brendan Dillon who make over 9 million a year combined
7 defensemen signed including Heinola, but have yet to sign Pionk and Staley
only 7 mil in cap space but it's actually probably 12 mil in cap space once Little goes on LTIR
what are they doin - jimbro83
That's going to be a weird side effect of this past season. They made the 2nd round, I think they think they are way closer than the actually are. I didn't want any part of him then, and I'm not sure I would now, but you wonder if we could kick the tires on PLD. His trade value has to be in the tank.

well they only have 9 forwards signed but have all these defensemen now
I don't think they are looking to deal forwards but probably their excess defensemen

I could see them swapping PLD for Chytil and maybe another roster player (Gaut?). Use the cap savings to go fill out the roster with low cost guys and/or then flipping D. That's probably their best method in general.
I got no problem with him being brought in. I feel the extension is premature as we don't know how it'll work out but it is what it is - MeltingPlastic
He’s Gallant’s guy. Gives the head coach two years of a locker room stabilizer and someone that knows how the team is going to be managed. Not to mention, this is likely his last couple years in the league. Gives the player something to be a part of.
That call always bothered me.
Late? Sure. But, that's it. Not a head shot. Not a blind side hit. Not charging.
Should have been 2 minutes. And Wilson gets off light most times he does that sort of thing.
