I love how this thread is so venomously policed.

Have you and your friend ever considered a career in law enforcement?

Interesting narrative, I seem to recall you refer to people who follow a "system" as "Sheep".

Canucks wingers are going to have to be better on the boards.

I don't know if I would have him on the PK. I think Hamonic 1st and Myers 2nd PK.

Question is who takes Edler's PK minutes for Van? OEL only played 1:44 PK time in Arizona. Was on the 2nd pairing. Similar to Schmidt in Van. OEL does not really block shots either. Only 26 last season compared to Edler's 118.

Rathbone or OJ is going to need to play PK time on the left because I can't see Hughes ever being a stellar PK guy. Not to say it's not possible just more than not likely.

JD, Garland and Podz all better on the boards than the wingers subtracted from the team.

Hogz might be one of the better board players on the team now too. They still brought back Sutter though. Honestly, I hope someone beats him out.

I was watching some Arizona highlights from last season this morning. OEL played what I think most thought Schmidt would play like.

I would say he's definitely not replacing Edler though, different defenders.

Garland was fun though to watch though, smart player, always buzzing it seemed because just in the right places.

Canucks really going for the Tampa Bay model now.

Garland being Yanni Gourde and Hoglander being Tyler Johnson.

Just missing the 6'6" Stud D man

Temper your expectations, he's no Mangiapani.

77 points in 178 games for Mang. 32 in 56 last season.

96 in 164 games for Garland. 39 in 49 last season.

I'd say one player is a bit better than the other and it's once again not in Calgary favour.

Winnipeg got some cap issues.

They have around 12M to sign Pionk, Copp, Stanley plus a couple others.

Looking at the Leafs roster I think once you get by the top four forwards they look like a flaming pile of dog sh1t. Maybe time for them to start selling those top four because it is really crippling their cap and options.

I still laugh at the heated emotional arguments made by our hot dog connoisseur about the Leaf's rebuild. So much envy and anger. Over that?
