With Zach Hyman in Edmonton visiting the #oilers today, as @JasonGregor reported, there remains a possibility of a sign-and-trade scenario with the #leafs that could get him a max eight-year term. |

I mean 93 points in 330 career games isn't nothing. Not saying he is the 2nd coming of Gretzky but he isn't coming here to score. To me that's just a bonus. - TPC
If Goodrow ends up playing with Eichel and Panarin at even strength, id bet with anyone he will have career highs in everything. Ill book him for 40pts in an 82 game season. |

That would be nice but it won't bug me if he tops at 25-30 again. It's everything else he brings that is going to make the team better. |

Why would Calgary retain salary if Seattle picked him?
But I was hoping Strome had more value than that on the trade market, especially after the Ottawa interest |

I think he meant Seattle lol
Thatβs a good deal. People are way undervaluing what Gio would bring. Especially if they retain a portion, the deal is even better.
It signals to me tho that they are getting a center and most likely Eichel |

Yea I am fine getting Gio, just was being a homer and though Strome could bring back more lol |

This is your 21-22 NY Rangers
βββββββββββββββ-
Panarin - Eichel - Kakko
Laf - Zib - Kravtsov
Kreider - Goodrow - Gauthier
Barron - Glendening - Rooney
Theyβll still need another forward via UFA. Glendening would be my pick, signed as a 4th line center and clutch faceoff guy.
Runner up - Kuraly
*Ironically if these rumors are true, RW is a little short depth now
Lindgren - Fox
Gio - Trouba
Miller - Nils
Smith
Sign me up. The league better look out, the Ranguhs are coming! |

The Eichel trade just needs to happen ASAP if itβs going to happen. He needs to have the surgery the next day so he can be ready for at least half the season |

You donβt trade strome without something lined up to trade for another center in my opinion. |

Not really interested in Gio, the need for a proper center is more pressing. |

Sounds like Giordano to the Rangers for Strome sometime before the days over. |

Gio is going to be a ranger & Eichel is going to be a ranger whether you like it or not. All signs point to this being the outcome when all said and done. |

Who is playing center for the 8 months Eichel will be on the shelf?
I love the idealism of having him in the lineup, but reality is were not gonna know what were getting until the end of the year/playoffs. |
