Have liked this trade from the start. This and the Hayden trade are actually 2 solid moves by BM. He's a big boy that can move between lines 2 and 4 easily.. and for this money.. a no brainer.

Now Fluery better be protected .. or that will be a real fckup.

Hey Ben.

Just wanted to say thanks for the content.

We all know that HockeyBuzz is a pretty dubious website for "official content" -- but we all sort of love it as being a platform for hockey fans to talk to other hockey fans.

You are obviously a hockey fan -- and you are working hard to create content for the rest of us.

So thanks for that.

I appreciate it -- and I'm sure many other people do as well.

I don't know how HockeyBuzz decided to give the entire west coast to one person -- that's obviously an oversite by whoever is in charge (which I assume is no one). I hope the scope of your content gets narrowed down so you can you provide some more in depth material -- instead of having to report on every transaction west of the Mississippi.

Keep creating content. Keep being honest about it. Keep giving us things to think about it.

Thank You.

I have watched him from his draft all the way to the trade.

He has all the tools to be 2nd line winger but he was so inconsistent with the Lightning. One night he was great, the next benched for stupidity. Lightning did not want to move him but they had to due to injuries forcing their hand with their cap situation. If he can learn how to be consistent the Ducks have a decent player.

Thanks for that, I appreciate it.

I try to put out the quick news as it comes, along with more in-depth stuff when there’s less going on, or articles providing some thoughts on recent moves. Obviously around this time of year, there are a lot of transactions and while there’s not too much to say about an event like Volkov re-signing, it usually warrants a quick note about it, at least in my opinion.

I’m planning to continue with all five teams, with a mix of quick news, transaction analysis and just general opinion pieces on different topics going forward, but if you or anyone reading have topics/ideas you’d want me to write about, I’d love to hear them and I’m totally open to doing some articles based on suggestions as well.

Thanks for reading!

If he has a deal in place (Henrique taken) and ends up keeping Fleury, then your rant looks ridiculous. Otherwise, I totally agree with you.

And what makes you think he's learned anything from the Vegas debacle.

Volkov also available.. what is it with this dummy...

The 2 recent trades that actually have been pretty solid...

You tend to like to play the 20/20 card. Sure, if Murray could predict the future, it would definitely influence his decisions I'm sure. Everybody criticized losing Petterson. His contract hasn't aged well at all with Pitt and he's exposed. Montour is floating around from team to team. Should we have kept Kase? All I'm saying is nobody is perfect, and playing the 20/20 card with Theodore is ridiculous. I think there's a deal in place with Seattle to take Henrique or maybe Shattenkirk in order to keep Fleury and allow us to keep all the kids (Jones/Steel particularly). Ron Francis (Seattle GM) drafted him in the 1st round (#7 pick) when he was with Carolina. We'll see.
