Rangers really need to start doing stuff, tired of waiting - TPC
If Gorton was always stuck at Applebee’s, where is Drury stuck? Sbarro? |

Agree. Feel like I’m checking once an hour expecting to see something. Would be very disappointed if they don’t use their expansion draft position to acquire someone(s) more worthy of protecting. Makes too much sense. |

Depends on how much teams have learned from the Vegas draft. Do you just accept losing a player for nothing or do you trade a player for a 2nd or 3rd or whatever and lose an additional player on top of that for nothing. |

Rangers pick at #15 available in a trade in our mock draft |
|
|

Personally I would like to see Lucius in a flames jersey but if he’s gone while lysell is probably the right pick I wouldn’t say it’s a slam dunk we take him. For better or worse sutter is here and I’m pretty sure he was given a say in personnel moves including the draft. So with that said while he could surprise the hell out of us I don’t think a small, speedy, Swede fits what sutter wants in a player. - RedC21
I do wonder how much influence Sutter will have on the draft pick. If he has much say I could see them taking Zachary L'Heureux. I just hope if that is their angle they trade down for him. 12th is too high for him I think.

Even after buying out Suter MIN still can’t protect Soucy.
WPG can’t protect Stanley and COL can’t protect Graves. All great options for us to target. |

That timeline doesn't fit with what that idiot Dolan wants. - dashripdot
That's what I was thinking. Your troll of a man owner wants big tough guys NOW for a run in 21/22. |

Both teams are on an upward swing with young talent, not saying it's a bad deal but no thanks I'd rather keep what we have.hoping with 8th pick this yr we can get that LD we need to continue growing our core. - Dewey8
Gets us LD help in Miller. Buch is good. Not sure about the 1 and the 2. But the two players are solid. |

Kaprizov declined an 8 year 9 million per deal. Wants a shorter term bc he thinks in a few years he will get between 10-11 million. If I were MIN I’d trade him, F that. |

That'd be putting the cart before the horse a little bit. Even if he only signs for 3-4 years there's no reason not to keep him for the short term. You can always trade him in the last year of his deal if you think he wants to test UFA or you think you can't afford him. |

LA’Heureux i think 90% would be the pick if we weren’t drafting so high, he seems like a guarantee NHLer just a question of how high his ceiling is. Also it follows a trend of selecting Q players that is something we’ve been doing the last couple years which is the reason why I wouldn’t be surprised if Bolduc is on our radar too which given the praise of his skating wouldn’t be a bad option either.
But if the draft goes exactly as this mock and given the likelihood of us selecting lysell I would have went with ceulemans. We have next to zero RD in the system and tanev isn’t getting younger, he’s reportedly a decent two way D, western canadian boy, he had a great U18 tourney with team Canada, and optimistically speaking if he kept up his 11 game pace over a full season with Brooks his pace would be on par with makar in his draft year. |
