That might of been the weakest playoff penalty I've ever seen called on the Isles just now Hahaha wow

The one on the bolts happens 20x a game. Point is a fücking stud. What a player.

Yet, they still give Martin and Cizikas an assist. Makes no (frank)ing sense.

Given that his contract comparable to production on the review was 6m+, I'd say I'm good with his contract, personally. I think he played much better once he get away from Matheson.

Lol buddy Marino was bad on his own. He was making bad mistakes early in the season. Matheson started the season bad as well until he settled down with Ceci and took over the #2 pairing.

I agree. Matheson looked better away from Marino and with Ceci. I think it takes a certain type of player to play with Matheson.

Protecting a 4th line player over several top 9 caliber players isnt good asset management IMO.

This team could absorb losing Tanev.

- SuperHenderson13

well I disagree with the 4th line player moniker. There's absolutely nothing special about Blueger and ZAR when they don't have Tanev. And he elevates the 3rd line anytime he is put with other linemates.

Look at what happened to "elite shutdown forward Adam Lowry" after he lost Tanev as a linemate.

Not to mention the tangible intangible of bringing energy every night to a team that has a bad habit of playing passively.

And he elevates the 3rd line anytime he is put with other linemates. And if you look at the with/without splits of only removing one player from the line at a time, it’s clear that ZAR was the lynchpin. Blueger and Tanev were demonstrably worse than ZAR and Tanev and ZAR and Blueger.

Look at what happened to "elite shutdown forward Adam Lowry" after he lost Tanev as a linemate.

Both Blueger and ZAR got bumps away from Tanev and each other, as did Tanev. They all had good seasons and excelled further when played up and away from the gang. The player that experienced the biggest bump when playing away was ZAR.

You’ve also always overrated Lowrey so there’s that too.

ZAR has been one of the best defensive forwards in the league for the last few years.

What would it take us to get Eichel? Our soul?lol

Jokes aside, perhaps Guentzel/Pettersson/Poulin and 1st RP would be a start?

I honestly don’t think we have any combination of things that will get Eichel besides literally Crosby if the Pagulas only care about selling tickets.

I try to have real conversations on there instead of telling people "nope" or "team a declines," but when people do that to me I troll the (frank) out of them and sometimes I've been so bored that I make teams I know will piss people off.

Only so many conversations you can have about a team with limited options.

We are all thinking Matheson, Zucker, Pettersson, ZAR, Matheson, or Bluegar gets selected. What if they select DeSmith? I know Hextall is rumored to be interested in back up goalies. I know we are looking for a playoff goalie, but what if he is anticipating Desmith to get selected?

Why would Seattle take DeSmith?
