Evanson should run away with the award this year. I think this should be more of a blowout than McDavid winning the Hart. Other than having a really good top 4 D, your roster looked terrible on paper going into this season, probably should have been competing for a top 5 pick. Awesome job there by him!
Isn't Spurgeon up for an award as well? It's nice to see some recognition going towards the Wild franchise. Just hopeful that this is the start of a decade of contender/championship hockey. Also, not to nitpick (but I guess I am), but I don't think it will be 18 months since Rossi was playing competitive hockey. He was playing regularly last October before he got covid. So realistically, it will almost be a year since playing regularly. But that's still going to be a big hill for him to climb.
Edit: I stand corrected on Rossi....before anyone else corrects me. Looks like it was March of 2020 when he was playing regular, day in and day out hockey. By the time he was playing in the World Juniors he had already had covid and was probably already starting to struggle with myocarditis. So I was wrong on this one...sorry Dan.
