Did you honestly just call all Pens fans xenophobic?

What are you - a college professor?

From the last thread...

I'll put it this way, if they only make a couple of minor tweaks to the lineup, i.e. bring in one or two bottom long-pants players then this team will simply remain a bubble team. We just don't know what level of an overhaul they're planning or can even execute at this point.

If they can address the goaltending, add two or three players who can win puck battles and get those greasier goals? Obviously this would mean some major pieces going out, but as long as overall quality isn't sacrificed that COULD make a profound difference.

Not an easy task by any stretch.

Have you ever seen a Xeno before? They're terrifying.

I thought it was a fear of a very specific Louisville slugger

Is the anti-Russian bias actually still a thing in the league at this point? I feel like they generally get their due these days.

I'd try to trade him or leave unprotected for Seattle. I wonder if Poulin and Légaré could play soon.
- Barnaby36

Here's a question. It seemed to me like we paid extra for St. Louis to protect Reeves then trade him to us. If someone offered to kick in something to get us to protect Zucker then trade him would you consider it?

I think I would have if they weren't protecting Carter. I hate the idea of losing Zucker for nothing, but also think McCann might be one that thrives in an expanded role in Seattle.

He could be a good 3rd line/1st PP Hornqvist type of role player. I think all of us want a top 6 player at the end of the day.
- 123Kid

We are definitely on the same page here. They need someone to that can play in the top 6.

I don’t know man. If you weren’t xenophobic you would tell us daily that you’re morally superior to the rest of us.

I wish we would have traded for Blake Coleman instead of Zucker.... and I still really like Zucker. He is very effective at forechecking and winning puck battles. But I do see the issue of too many "like-minded" forwards and think need at least one player who is a good net-front guy.

I dont see E. Kane being realistic given the locker room/character issues (whether they have merit or not)

Getzlaf is still a super long shot to get him to leave ANA.

Kreider is staying put in NY.

I can't see a Jamie Benn to Pittsburgh trade that makes sense.

Kopitar, Gallagher, Tkachuk, Landeskog aren't going anywhere.

Even second tier guys... Josh Anderson was just traded... Miles Wood is probably staying put for a while

Unless we can clone a 25 year old Chris Kunitz.....I think this could become a wild goose chase for Hextall and Burke.

I was keeping a real close eye on this in particular vs the Isles this time and he barely won any. I think he could produce more if we kept him, than he did last season, especially if with Sid, but I am ready to move on from him more so than keep. He seems like Kraken fodder to me.

As bad as he was, Zucker still prorated out to 19.4 G and 38.8 Pts. A bounce back season ends up looking pretty good.

Probably doesn't happen here, but I am going to predict 25 and 50 over a full season for Zucker.

For someone not on the 1st PP that's pretty good, actually.

I can totally see us clamoring for more scoring and production from our wingers as he gets 25 and 50 for the Kraken or elsewhere next season hahaha

If Zucker doesn't get picked up in the expansion draft I fully expect the Pens to move him.

I think its pretty simple and straight forward...

PIT: Jamie Benn, Lilegrin
DAL: Mitch Marner
TOR: Zucker, Marino, Dal 1st 2021, Dal 1st 2022.
