You could even allow a small overage to accommodate a mid season addition for an injury etc. - JRR1285

I'd prefer that the cap also applies to the playoffs. That would be easier. - Fenrir
It would except for that salaries and cap hits are based on the 82 regular season games that ALL teams play. Changing that structure would not be good as it is already precariously perched until the next labor dispute.

You might. I can't remember if it was the night of the second shot or the next day but it wasn't so great. |

Then it has to come down to playing a certain amount of games to be eligible for the playoffs. This would force teams to get players back in as soon as they can. |

Yea usually you get sick and deal with it, but knowing its coming and I can't really do anything to stop it makes it so much worse |

Or at the very least, pay the price for the eligibility.

I've had one for the last 10+ years. Unless you like fur everywhere they're not for you. Literally comb her all the time and make a dog size mound each time. Still fur everywhere. |

I think maybe they could treat players on LTIR like college FA acquisitions (if I'm remembering right). If you acquire a player somehow after the trade deadline, they are ineligible for the playoffs.
Regardless, the is no way they should ever have allowed for playoff rosters to have total salary above the cap, even if no one is being paid. |

I'm not sure he actually got it. He mentioned something about a Kreider applicator. |
