The 2nd, Oshie and Toews seems like a lot to give up. Toronto should be all over that offer. Dubas screwed the Leafs with poor contract management, he isnt going to get what Marner is worth as a player.

If Seattle offers their 2nd round pick, Oshie and Toews I think that is a good deal.

Marner to CBJ for Jones and Elvis and a 3rd.
Then CBJ trades a 1st and 4th for Kuzy (Wash retains $.8M)

Never hurts to pitch an offer but I dont see the Leafs trading him.

It will be interesting to see what the Leafs do. They have a projected 12 mill in cap space to work with needing to replace or sign 7 Forwards, one of which is Hyman. Need 1-2 Dmen (3rd pair and #7 prob only need 1.7 mill to fill both spots) Then comes the G. Do you re-sign Andersen or get a backup for Campbell?

andrsen walks. his 5 mil goes to a hyman raise(2.5 added to his current 2.25 fir a tital of 4.75) and a backup or 1b type goalie.(still have 2.5 to spend and maybe this backup is cheaper than that if they cant a proven 1b)

Because Eichel or Dahlin has moved the needle in Buffalo at all since being drafted.

You take the 6th and you trade it for both of Minnesota's picks and something else.
You now have four picks in the late 1st round.

Or you trade your second over all for someone late first round this year and their number first round next year and you try and target who you think might suck. Kind of like how the Sens fluked getting San Jose's pick.

This year's draft is "meh". Have a crappy team this year. Stack your picks for next year.

IF Toews & Oshie are drafted by the Kraken, I’d entertain the two of them + the second overall pick. Which I would try to flip for something else.

What I’d love to do, though, is move Freddie + whatever we need to, to EDM for Klefbom or Nurse
