How boring was that lottery?

So sad seeing JD back in Columbus.

I am 85% sure the pick is used in some type of trade this summer

Imagine having him on the Rangers for a long time. Things might have been different. They probably would have just traded him away anyway.

Brutal hit. Don’t blame him for going balls to the wall, still only down 1 with a minute to go but odd choice to play the body rather than the puck there. Shoulder was down but looked like he left his feet too.

I wouldn't be surprised at anything when it comes to this 15th overall pick, I could even see them trading down and getting a 2nd rounder

there's a couple of goalies in this draft, Jesper Wallstedt the top one, and if he hasn't gone by the 15th pick. maybe Detroit offers the 23rd overall pick and our 2nd rounder back to move to 15, something like that

I think everything is on the table, I have no idea what to expect with Drury

Gorton wasn't a trade down kind of guy, he was a trade up kinda guy

I know. Because we're gonna be busting all over the place when he scores the SCF winning goal.

I see the Rangers holding onto it and continuing to stock the cupboard. This draft will be a wildcard draft and they may get a really talented player at that point if their scouting gets lucky.

I have never seen him play but read a report that he is soft. Do we really need another soft center?

Cole Sillinger is my choice because his father was an NHLer that usually leads to good things!! Also had a very nice Ppg this past season. Whether he is still on the board at 15 - who knows?

I have a feeling he's the kind of guy who would have the opportunity to do so but will try and make a perfect pass, so he'll fit right in

look what the Athletic wrote about my boy Matt Coronato:

Matthew Coronato, RW, Chicago-USHL

This might be a little high from where most draft experts expect Coronato to go, but the Blackhawks have proven that matters little to them. They’re going to draft whomever they project to be the best player regardless of what others think. The Blackhawks know Coronato quite well. Probably no NHL team saw him and the Chicago Steel as much in person as the Blackhawks did this season. Coronato’s numbers speak for themselves, as he scored 56 goals in 59 USHL games. What was especially impressive about that production was he scored in so many different ways. There’s not just one way to contain him, and that should help the probability of him becoming a future top-six NHL winger. A league source thought his ceiling could be comparable to Brad Marchand due to Coronato’s similar size and blend of offense, motor and feistiness. Coronato’s high-pace style is a lot like the way the Blackhawks have expressed they’d like to play. He’ll probably need a year or two at Harvard before joining the Blackhawks. -Scott Powers

I'm just spit balling. I will look this guy up. I just hope they get lucky and nab a Bergeron type or something with mid-late 1st or 2nd round magic (if they use the pick(s) ).

I think Coronato is too special to pass up if still there at 15 regardless of him being a winger
