Funny story, when I was stationed over in S. Korea there was this club called the Hustler Club, Fun Place, well had one young Lady who had this contraption over her bed, a chair with the Arms hooked to Rubber bands and a hole cut out in the seat, well she use to twist the chair like a swing, wildest ride I ever had.

You didn't like the Hall signing, but there are thousands and thousands of Sabres fans that did.

You liked the Staal signing, and many others did, but many didn't.

To me, signing a top line winger, trading for a respected veteran in Staal who had a great year prior, and bringing in a great penalty killer in Rieder, weren't just chump-ass transactions.

For whatever reason (Ralph? Well, then blame Botterill for that mess) it didn't work out. The moves on paper, though, looked good.

Adams sounds like he's energetic and up for challenge. As fans, that's all we can do is hope these next moves work out.

I notice you left out not extending any of Ullmark, Reinhart, or McCabe in your comment above. That seems convenient when grading the job the GM has done.

Adams is concerned about the here and now along with the future. It is the absolute best mindset to have. Be aware of the past, learn from it, use ou to become better...but don't dwell on it as that serves 1 purpose..to waste valuable time and energy thereby taking way from pursuing the best solution jow and in the future.

Jack, Sam and Risto are focused on the past and using it to project the future as a never-ending poop show for the future. I get it. They want out.

So, meld the two together.
Trade Jack, Sam, Risto, Girgs, maybe even McCabe to secure assets and currency necessary to improve the future. The losing stink on these players came out in the form of frustration Monday. Clear the air, build back better.
