as long as they don't clutter up the screen all the time, i'm fine with some of it...keep it short, keep it simple and keep it lazer focused, imo
- Michael Pachla

I'd rather see how many blocks, hits, turnovers, takeaways and face off wins for the players

but that is just me

Why?
- jdfitz77

Why because of Rhino, one less whole to fill and he proved a lot in those last 28gms or so. Jack's a great hockey player, but I think the sum of pieces we could get for Jack would make us a better overall team with Rhino still here. Jack has to look out for himself, but what he did Monday didn't need to be done, he had other ways he could have handled it. The Organization has been horrible and deserves all there criticism. But I am still a fan of this team, and he basically bent them over and gave it to them dry, F@ck that there still my Team.

Well wouldn't he be going to a basic build a team in Seattle.
- Buff36

You have a point but Sam might look at this like a Vegas situation and say we can be that

With UWB that is possible. You can even calculate speed. If you know the players' weight you can calculate force as well for player safety.

A lot of possibilities. But as Pach said, you can't clutter the broadcast. I think best case scenario is a different broadcast via a special link.

The way we watch sports is changing and it's WAY more engaging.

I am of the minority opinion, but just keep him here. With him healthy, I think the Sabres can roll three legitimate scoring lines.

If they're winning, it will cure everything.

Mike Morreale
@mikemorrealeNHL
So .. Chris Drury (NYR), Kevyn Adams (BUF), Stan Bowman (CHI), and Tom Fitzgerald (NJD), all part of the management team for the U.S. men's national team in the Wrld Championship, want one last, good look, at top 2021 NHL Draft-eligible forward Matt Beniers (@umichhockey).

I'd be interested to hear this. WGR?

Side note: I'd think you'd be the person happiest about the NHL debuting advanced stats during the broadcast in real time

You are not in the minority, I might be pissed but the guy is still a good hockey player. Said before it's all posturing right know, just have to see where it goes. If he wants to stay Great, but if he wants to go, I will drive him to the airport.

the gus contract really had nothing to do with the sabres this year...the eakin signing in and of itself was not good and the contract made it worse...staal was a good idea but he got out of it by getting back a couple of picks...hall was a huge surprise and generally liked, but turned into a wreck under krueger

sheahan was a good bottom-six signing and reider was good as well...taken as a whole, and knowing that r lph had at least some input on his fa signings, D, D- might be a little harsh...

maybe C, C- ?

Things have spun so far out of control that he might have to trade Eichel. That's a straight F in my book.

And Adams forthcoming answer helped, unless he's straight up lying. But some of the beat reporters after some digging have me leaning that Adams was being straight up. If both Jack doctors from his second opinion AND the team doctor's are coming to the same conclusion, try the conservative approach for X months then surgery; then it appears he was throwing a tantrum. Albeit after yet ANOTHER losing season, staring down the barrel of ANOTHER coaching change, and disarray in the organization.

So I say just stay in communication with Jack, listen to offers, but unless you're totally BLOWN away, keep him.

Agree on keeping him, and get he's frustrated, but he really should have kept the medical stuff in house.

100%

Edit: As much as I WANT to keep Rhino and roll him at C2, he holds ALL the cards here.

I hope he stays, I really don't care about the press conference stuff, I mean what did we expect after the season.

A lot of that just sounds like your mad at Jack
I like Reinhart, but Eichel is a better player who we will definitely miss more

Of course Jack's better, doesn't mean the pieces we could get back won't make us a better team. Of course I am mad at Jack, we all should be. What he did could hurt the team in a trade scenario. Every team looking to trade for Jack is looking into what this Surgery is all about, some teams will stay in it but some teams will drop out or be more hesitant to give a big return. I don't want to trade Jack, but I would want the best return for him if it happens and he could have really hurt that.

I wont miss him. Send him to Arizona or Coumbus let him rot in one of those S*it Holes.

He deserves it after throwing the entire organization under the bus.

We would get a good return for Sam too
And i don’t think what Jack said hurts his value
Everyone already knew he wasn’t happy here & wanted out
All he basically said is just confirmation of how disfunctional the Sabres are- which also was already known by everyone
