Egregious! Have him banned for life! As a hockey community, we can't stand for players who act so violently. Throw him in jail. Fine him his full contract amount. Take away his house. Should be suspended several games. It was an empty net goal at the end of the game. No reason to lay a finger on him. Nothing good can come from any contact at that point. Using the calculator that should be used...yes, Ghost should be suspended. Even if just for one game. He should also be fined. The reason, his actions COULD have lead to serious/career threatening or life altering injury. Doesn't matter that this was accidental, that he frustrated. Also doesn't matter that the play didn't result in an injury. It is only luck that Friedman didn't get hurt.

Crosby arguably did worse to TK but nope, nothing. And Wilson pays pennies off his contract for injuring a superstar. Go figure.

It should be a suspension regardless of who it is. When you look at histories for violence though, Ghost and Wilson are not even comparable. How does Parros see this as worthy of a hearing (which it is) but not for Wilson's sideshow?

Parros is a joke. Most people knew this is the direction things would head when he got hired. I’m not shocked.

NHL is going to be front and center on social media when someone dies on the ice. It's coming soon. NHL wants this to happen they welcome it and celebrate it.

Wilson and Perros must be drinking buddies or something. Pannarin goes another inch further and he has a serious concussion, or worse. What Ghost did was potentially very dangerous, but what Wilson did was just plain malicious.

Lol, not trying to say this wasn’t a Richardbag move by Ghost, and doesn’t warrant a hearing. Still, it's comical that this warrants a suspension while Wilson’s psycho episode is just a (petty) fine.

What i say is start suspending players for 20-30 games for trying to intentionally injure other players.

Start fining the organizations.

The NHL is the only sport that allows this, and its weird that it is celebrated by some fans and "That's what hockey is"

This absolutely should have a hearing and a suspension because that kind of hit is dangerous and belongs nowhere in the sport. What I do not like is the inconsistency. If they do suspend here they are penalizing the action, not the result which is EXACTLY how it SHOULD operate. Wilson deserved a suspension because his action of pushing down on a guy, hitting him in the back/head while his stick is around the guys throat and he is prone on the ice is a dangerous play that doesn't belong in the sport. Similarly a MMA takedown by the back of a guys jersey or hair, after flipping his lid off, risking splitting the guys head on the ice SHOULD be suspended. I'm even going to say that Panarin deserves a suspension, jumping onto a guys back even to try and defend your player is not warranted. Even Crosby punching/pushing a guys head into the ice (I realize he was responding to the head lock he was put in) is something that crosses the line to suspendable offence in my book.

10 games! The DoPS will show they mean bidness when dealing with players who unnecessarily put others at risk of a possibly serious injury!!

Deserves a significant suspension.
