At the end of the day, the moves were KA's. He bungled Ullmark and Sam (+Montour) last summer, and put himself in a terrible spot. I'd put odds on him overpaying them both now.
I really want to see him move on from GMTM's core guys and build his own team. JB never did.
What's been KA's best move so far? Tage's extension? - Lunaion
I dont care about Montour at all but I agree he screwed up Ullmark and Reinhart. We'll see what he does with them this off-season. His best move was firing Ralph Krueger. His worst move was not firing Ralph Krueger sooner |

How did we get suckered into paying Jeff Skinner 9 mil for 8 years? |

Did he kick his 2 G's with his hands? - IonSabres
The Canadian professional wrestler is for the dept of player safety... sorry for the confusion.... I was typing that when bjork score and threw in the bjork call

He’s been great tonight, but he was invisible for about 10 straight before this.
Not sure how I feel about him - sbroads24
Absolutely true. I am intrigued after writing him off after a bad stretch. |

It is what it is.
He's untradeable. They've got to figure out how to get him going next year. |

Seems interesting, but I don't have access. - Lunaion
There's a few good moves I think.
-Not trading Mittelstadt, and for nothing
-Not overpaying Kahun
-Locking in tallness for cheap for a few years
-Getting draft currency and a middle 6 F for a husk and a guy who only wanted to go to one team
-Hired Karmanos
I'd put those as his best moves.

There is absolutely no reason to bring back Mccabe to play him over samuelson. The kid looks like he has played for years. |

Can you really give him credit for that? However it played out between him, Ralph, and Terry/Kim doesn't look good for anyone involved. Hopefully adding Karmanos to the picture is a big improvement.

Well, idk, but you said earlier that we can only judge Adams by the moves the Sabres made, so if he's getting the blame for Eakin and the Girgensons extension, I'll give him credit for firing the worst coach in franchise history |

Dealing with his RFA's, selling at the deadline, and hiring an AGM. Not sure if they graded him, but it's failing in my book.

Didn't trade picks for crappy players (vesey, simmonds, bogo, DLO, Frolik, etc.) |

Those are his best moves in one year's time. How are those failures? And if I'm not asking the right question, are you saying all his moves combined is a failure or you just think he hasn't done enough?

The previous two GMs traded for Jimmy Vesey. He hasn't done that (yet), so I'm counting it as a plus
Is it weak? Sure, but I'll give it to him |
