I want the loses and goals, the season is what it is. Well I would like certain teams like blues, flames to win out and the flyers to be 500 šŸ˜¬

Bill

How many more games do LHV PLAY?

What do you think about Errerson (spelled wrong) and sandstrom for next season. One seems to be thought of as one of the better goalies outside the nhl and does sandstorm have enough games left to build some MO for next season

One more April game (tonight) and then eight in May. They are unlikely to make up the four postponed games since there won't be any Calder Cup playoffs and even a division playoff format is all but confirmed not to be happening.

Sandstrƶm and Ersson on the Phantoms could happen next season.

I really wonder what is going on inside of the players heads when this happens so consistently. Since it happens so often they have to be playing like this on purpose, right?

Most of all I would love to hear honest answers whether any player on the team loves playing the game or if it really is just a paycheck.

Bill, what bothered me the most about this game was the final 3 minutes. The season is over, so why not give other players a chance to get a big goal for the team? Why does AV keep playing G, Jake, JVR, Provey, Hayes and Couts for the final 3 minutes when its clear they are gassed, and not give our younger players like Farabee, TK, Allison and yes even Zamula to get a chance to play and maybe score a big goal for the team? What else are the Flyers playing for at this point? Are AV and Fletcher not on the same page here?

No Calder Cup or divisional playoffs?? What a shame! These kids could have used this opportunity to play meaningful games and gain valuable experience. I guess I understand the call-ups more now.

As Slovak native I am very proud of Big Z, punishing Martin for that hit on Michael. Finally someone took good care of him :-D

Another slow start by this team. This makes about the one millionth time that this has happened with this leadership group. This is a MAJOR problem and has to be rectified in the off season. I know everyone wants to put all this on Giroux's shoulders, but it's not all on him. This veteran core blows!!! You look at the good Flyer's teams from the past or even the good teams in today's NHL and they are ready to play from the start. This has happened far too often with this group and it's on the veterans(Giroux, Voracek, JVR, Hayes.....ect.). Not sure how they can rid themselves of a couple of big contracts with a flat cap, but something has to happen. I already want Hayes out of here!! He is the laziest POS that I think I've ever seen(unless he is playing through an injury). You can't be a leader for the younger players when you don't work hard yourself. This team is VERY HARD TO ROOT FOR and as a long time fan I find it to be a total disgrace!!! Thanks again!

That 5 Devils goal was a tribute to Special Olympics participants from Patrick and Moose. So do no not HYPERBOLE! Strange AV play Patrick at all. Take bad penalties, and is horrendous defensively. Offensively pretty grim to at the moment.

I love this team, I do. Half of this fan base I can really live without. Youā€™ll see a large majority show Sympathy while Lindblom fights through cancer but Nolan Patrick who is younger, less experienced and has skated/played less than anyone on this squad the passed two years, no sympathy at all. They call him tinker bell, say he has no balls. Do you guys even think before you speak? Knowing what we know about Lindrosā€™ career and you guys can allow yourselves to breathe these words. Heā€™s 22. The guy took a puck to the head by Myers. There was no concern? A lot of you guys on here are trash!

Coots is a part of the core too, he way to frequently is left off when people are complaining. Heā€™s been here for the slow starts the past 8 years, he needs some blame too.

Bill,

Thank you for the write up as always. Who do you think is the next Flyers captain and will that be in the 2022-2023 season or beyond? I donā€™t mean it in a negative way against Giroux but Iā€™m thinking they transition to a new captain some time in the next few years.

Yep, in place of etc....I should have just put Couturier's name in there cause he is a part of this veteran group and he doesn't get a pass either.

The bad news bears of hockey! Ding bat comes out of his net for no reason in particular and fumbles the puck away, and then diaper boy trips over him. That's an insta classic!

AV keeps playing G, Coots, Voracek and Provorov because they are the ones who are actually doing things.

I kind of have to agree with this. The Giroux line seems to be the only line that I've noticed the past couple of games. The young guys are getting their chances, but quite frankly if you are still trying to win games you have to go with that Giroux line based on the performance of those other lines. TK needs to grow up and be a consistent professional. I really thought at one point that he could be the next captain of this team down the road, but I'm certainly not seeing that now.

Zamula looked pretty good. He actually led the team in ES icetime. 2mins more than Provy.

But hold on he was the second pick in the draft and he makes more money than you. He should just play better and everything would be ok. After all he is a professional athlete and not a human being.

I loved that he wanted to make the play, he didnā€™t just defer to his partner. His head was up ice and he was trying to get it up to the forwards.
