Good game all around. I'm not getting too high off it though as the Isles looked even better the last time we played the Rag$. The last few matchups they've afforded us a lot of time and space, something that has not been available against the Caps, Bruins and Pens. It's something to build off of and we should be well on our way to punching our ticket for the playoffs, but it's going to be a tough haul when the tourney starts.

I can't be the only one who laughed out loud when Leo (who we were all finally happy with last night)... proceeded to Fire a pass into Barzal's face in the neutral zone.

Yep. Super happy they played well but not completely buying into they have turned it around just yet. Hoping they have and for the best. As far as the Pens go they are a new look team as far as their playing style goes. Their man to man coverage is insane. Anytime we play them we have zero time and space which leads to turn overs for us and for a strong transition team they clog the neutral zone with the best of them. If we play our game the way we all know we can we can beat anyone. Just have to hope we start playing our game.

Not his fault he got paid too much for too long and is being put in a role he shouldn’t. I thought he played well on the 4th line when clutter was out recently. Hopefully that’s his utility for the team in the playoffs.

I don't think he's coming off the 1st line.

It is going to be tough whoever we play in the east all 3 teams are cup contenders and I feel the east will win the cup.

Well if the thought process is to go into the playoffs with Komarov as a first line winger that’s pretty insane. Trotz should be trying different players besides Zajac and Komarov the next five games imo.

Ah, I'm with Jimmy here...I think what we see is what we get at this point, unless there's a monumental collapse. I don't agree with it, but how much more time am I going to waste puzzling over it? I'm hoping the first line serves as a good enough decoy for other teams' best shutdown players and that the second and third lines step up their scoring against weaker competition. And then we can just laugh at how hard everyone tries to make "first line Leo" a good thing that totally works.

My favorite is when this first line, like once over a five-game span, will do something other first lines do regularly and the entire broadcast team acts like the happy parent of the little league right fielder who finally gets a hit. "You see?! Look! They did a first line thing! I'm so proud!" I thought Shannon and Butch were going to take Leo out for ice cream when he scored.
