flyers are a poorly fitting team, and have largely given up on the season so yeah, theyre floating face down in the water. that being said, the current lineup trotted out for both teams, i dont think its unreasonable to say the flyers have more individual scoring talent on the ice right now.

Aston reese is a decent grinder but not much more, sceviour, jankowski may be one of the worst forwards in the league, lafferty is a mid level AHL guy, rodrigues hustles but is a replacement level scrub. thats half of the lineup right now. right now its largely just hustle and wait for the top line to bail them out.

he still has his legs and shows zero hesitation to fire. if the pens ever get their second line back, i think he'll slot in nicely. i just wonder how much of this jump in his stride is being new/getting to suit up against the flyers.

yes, pretty embarrassing ... that goal was all about Hart's mistake, not about Crosby getting a stick off the bench.
