Bill this loss is not costly. This is a bad team losing to the worst team in the league for the 3rd time, 2nd time in the last couple of weeks. They are playing out the string

The only plus to this loss is the playoffs we’re likely a lost cause with or without this game but any moves Fletch makes tomorrow will have a lot less chance of Irritating the fan base. A loss like that puts the team as a whole on the chopping block. I would say farabee and couts are untouchable otherwise open season. Doubt anything earth shattering happens before the off-season though but hopefully a few players go to good teams so I have someone to Colorado. Last time I felt this bad after a game was the Buffalo playoffs w czechmonic. Not fun to be a fan these days. Can we get Jason smith out of retirement to show this team how to do the little things that win games right.

Up 2-0 after 1 their was no excuse to blow this to a team void of their top players. I'm just thankful there are only 16 games left.

I was watching and turned it off after they took the 3-2 ... figured it was done.. then was watching Duck game and saw 5-3 and thought oh they got a couple empty netters...

Never would have thought they'd cough that lead up..

Bill,

Does Fletcher still have the mandate from Scott for a "bias for action"? Does this season show that the initial call for the 'action' has not worked, or is last season the expected result, and this season is a mirage? Corporate entities demanding action rarely works in the sports world; the Sabres are the perfect example, outside of their domination of the Flyers.

Hart (no timely saves) and Couturier (poor board play) and NAK (how do you miss that open net) lost this game

Does this mean Laughton is traded?
I like him, but I like almost all our players individually...still doesn't mean we win.

Good evening Bill,

In all your years of watching, covering, and writing for the Flyers, have you ever known this team to be sellers? I mean in the true sense of the word.

All the excuse makers for Hart about how terrible the team is in front of him, I'd like them to explain Ullmark's .916 save % for the Sabres.

The only team I think taking Jake is Columbus. He’s got years left under contract, no ntc, and they seem to struggle keeping talent. New coach is coming as he wouldn’t mesh with torts but It would be minimal return. I’m all for adding picks n a young d man to try to pry Jones out if they don’t think he’ll resign there. Dreaming I’m sure but we need a d man like him and being he’s on a down year on another team needing change you never know. He’s probably one of Columbus best assets though

I'm as dedicated Flyers/hockey fan as there is. We watched the Masters over the Flyers games this weekend. Just checked on the Flyers when there were commercial breaks. That's scary that I'm so indifferent to this team now. I just don't need to ruin my afternoons/nights by watching these sad sacks and getting pissed off. There appears to be no leadership on this team and I've been saying this through many different coaches. I've never seen a team cave like these bunch of skirts do(with a little adversity). Hayes looks like he doesn't care and people need to stop giving Hart a pass. His save pct. is a joke and that's a very telling stat. This is the softest Flyers team in the history of this organization and I have no confidence in Fletcher to fix it cause I think he is a zero! As in I haven't liked one of his moves yet. I was lukewarm about the Hayes signing, but with each passing game I like that signing less and less.
