I like the deal, and i like what Fitz is doing. I appreciate that hes not just in "sell mode" and only looking to move out our UFAs but is also already looking at using our assets to take advantage of expansion/cap issues to improve the team in the present and future.

I expect Fitz to continue making moves like this(maybe not right now at the deadline, but in the offseason before the expansion draft)

Also, put a claim in for Mete! Can't see him getting past the Sabres, Sens, Ducks, or Red Wings to get to us though

Right now i'd protect Sevo, Siegenthaler, and PK. If we aren't gonna use him at all, just expose Butcher. Still possible we add another D before expansion though, so we'll see

The only difference is Siegenthaler has good numbers in the NHL whereas Mueller didn't even have good numbers in the AHL lol

They Devils can retain salary on one more player (we know it's not Vatanen and probably not Kulikov), who will it be? Murray, Subban, Butcher, Wood, Johnsson?

Yeah would assume its Murray, if he's moved. Not many teams, if any?, could take on his full 4.6M cap hit
