The Lightning won't win another Cup with Rutta-Cernak-Schenn-Rookie down the right side. Period. It is physically impossible to keep Hedman, Sergachev, and McDonagh out on the ice for the entire game. Hedman has proven he can carry a pylon-partner, but it's not something you want to do every game. Sergachev and McD can also do it to a lesser degree, but they aren't Hedman.

Something has to give. Even after Cernak comes back, there is no depth at all there. Just Cernak and a rotating cast of pylons and warm bodies.

I don't see how we pull it off without sending salary the other way. Our cap situation is so friggin tight and nobody wants to do us any favors. I wouldn't mind him though. He's an upgrade over some of the pylons and plugs we play back there.

How about Colton. Man, that kid is determined to stay with the big club. Stephens is watching his job security decline significantly. LOL.

It has to be $4$ in and out. Yeah no one does anyone favors in any business. But picks...prospects not sure we really have enough either but never say never.
