He must ha tested negative otherwise they wouldn’t have let the game go ahead.
- Canada Cup

They hadn't even determined that his 'contact' was positive. I think Willie was in contact with someone who was in contact with a positive test. Twice removed. So team was 3 times removed. And they said at intermission the contact may not have even equated to "close personal contact" ...so low risk. I'm sure they tested him today ...fingers crossed.

Friedman kept trying to make it into a thing. With the deadline coming and Dubas already looking for a forward, we just don’t know how long Nylander might be away,

They should know pretty quick ...I got tested last week and the result was posted 8 hours later.

Friedman is sweating about how boring Monday is going to be.

That is revisionist history. It wasn’t really a debate about Campbell vs Andersen it was a debate about Andersen and not wort revisiting.
- Canada Cup

It's only not worth revisiting if you're someone who would rather not admit they were wrong about Andersen.

It's very worth revisiting if you're someone who tried to point out (and took a lot of heat for pointing out) that Andersen wasn't very good.

Perspective am I right.

117 point pace. Remember when people were so impressed with that 105 point team that had 0 injuries, Freddy at .919 and bottom 5 in GA?

He was the only one who said Dallas would make it to the Finals. Show some respect.

He also said Leafs in 3.

Habs fans consider jets and Montreal better playoff teams than Edmonton and Toronto. Interesting.

So I asked this in the devils thread discussing the trade.

Why do people get upset with acquiring a late first round pick for a rental player like Palmieri? Do fans expect the red wings or senators to hand over top 5 picks just like that? For an old Ufa rental?

Got to get more aggressive there Aeth. And don't settle for Astra baloney at the pharmacy. Covid centres at hospitals, faster, better and you can get pfizer or moderna.
- winsix

So far, in my geographic region, at 56 years old, I qualify only for Astra Zeneca at a pharmacy.

If I could drive somewhere and get it, I would.

I am very tempted to fly to the US to see if my brother can hook me up and just ignore the hotel stay idiocy coming home.

The thing is, the Leafs kept changing the defense but the results didnt change. The forwards weren't playing much D and the goaltending has been a problem for couple years at least.

well the 105 points was a team record...so that was kinda impressive for a 100 year old team.

also they were 2 seasons removed from last place.

Also, the 105 point team will still be the record after this season

What does Campbell have to do with whether every goal scored on Andersen was the softest goal ever scored? That’s the revisionism. Breaking down his play on individual goals to try to determine if they were in fact soft or not Andersen isn’t relevant to a decision as to whether Campbell hadn’t played enough since he was injured at the time.

Also, I think everyone appreciates your personal heroism in taking so much heat by being the only person to point out that Freddie wasn’t very good.

Marner can stop shooting from the blue line on the pp anytime now
- burn

If he could get it all the way there, maybe.... No idea why he would be shooting from there. Marner needs to work on his shot big time.
